There would be no food for any of the bugs, because most bugs eat the fungi in the forests. There would be more bugs than there are right now, because certain types of fungi are what kill the bugs. Also it would be to overpopulated even with the trees because fungi is able to kill the trees in the balance of nature.

I went to the Daintree Forest last May. It was a great forest with rich plants, insects and animals. Trees produce oxygen which is what we need to breathe. When I say we I mean humans because I assume you are a human. Plus the rain forest and other forests are fabulous parts of nature that we would never want to destroy. But most importantly, rain forests have so many trees. Whole species live in the rain forests and can not be found any where else. Many medicines have been discovered in the rain forest so the rain forest is an important part of the Earth.

Garmish is north of Munich and the Black Forest is in central Germany. A 4-5 hour drive apart. Both have a certain charm. If you go to Garmish make sure you visit the King Lugwrick hunting lodge. It is well worth seeing. He built a fake grotto with a lake and swan boat inside. He had a dinning room that was completely mirrored and the table came up from the floor into the room. Garmish is a lovely area and looks like the typical German alp town. When you get into central Germany make sure you visit Rothenburg, the oldest walled city in Europe. The town is charming and the wall is complete. Heidelberg is also worth seeing, but the castle there doesn't have much in it but empty rooms with the ceramic heaters. Along the roads into Heidelberg are apple trees and some wonderful spots to stop and have a picnic. If you are traveling by train the German trains are efficient and on time.
