If it's automatic, it's on the drivers side of the engine towards the battery. It should be easy to spot. Generally on a Geo Prizm it is located on left side of the coolant overflow container. Top of dipstick should be red.

The 1991 Geo Metro EGR valve can be located on the air cleaner housing. The valve will be on the back of the housing.

I am having the same issue with my 97 Geo Prizm. I had my mechanic look at it. He slightly jacked up the motor and said the vibration wnet away and as he suspected it was the worn out motor mounts. It is worse in the winter when it is cold. I am in the process of replacing the motor mounts now, but the cheapest I can find them is almost $300 on the web. Good luck

Begin by removing the covers to your 1993 Geo rear speakers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the rear speakers. Reverse the process to install the new rear speakers.

You probably just need a new button. If you look at the wires on the defroster, you may find one that's broken. You can buy a repair kit for these at most auto parts stores. Just follow the directions. Also you need to check your fuse box and if that doesn't work, you've got a bad wire somewhere.

Anti lock brake systems were optional on all 1997 Geo Prizm cars. One way to know if the car has an ABS system is when the ignition is turned on. The ABS light will briefly come on when the car is started.

R134a is all that is available If you have an R12 system You have to retrofit to R134a I didn't go through the hassle of changing the entire system to r134a I just recharged the system with the new freon and it's working just fine. The coolant even last longer.

I don't know in the 1999 is the same as 1994 or not. But on 1994 the speaker covers cannot be removed from the felt deck. You need to remove this assembly. It has been awhile since I did this but you basically need to remove the rear light attached to the back window and the back seats in order to get access to the back deck/speaker covers. You may also be required to remove the supports which extend from the back seat up to the ceiling (I don't recall exactly).

Remove pressure from the fuel system. Remove fuel lines and the rails. Get a fuel injector puller to avoid the risk of damaging the injector. Remove the old injector and replace it.

I'm guessing that you're referring to the switch that controls your brake lights. If so, it's located on the brake pedal assembly. It should have a small one or two wire plug attached to it and a locknut that holds it in a hole in the assembly. Unplug the wire and loosen the front nut and pull it out from the backside.

I have a 96 Geo Prizm LSI and it holds approx 9 gallons. Don't know for sure, but probably 14 gallons like my 93. ANSWERWell I have filled up to 11 in mine and that was on empty so I think 12.

if you get under the hood on the drivers side, lean in a little bit, look down the firewall, you will see it sitting on your transmission.

If you mean the 'Check Engine' light it's on the instrument cluster on the left side near the engine coolant guage.

You have to release the tension bolts, and the actual bolts that hold the units on, after this make sure you have slack to remove the belts paying attention to which one came out first because that will be the last one to go back on. I would recommend replacing all the belts, the power steering can be overlooked and will start to squeak.

Look under your exhaust manifold on the front of the engine. Towards the passenger side.

First thing you have to do is get it up in the air. Put jack stands under it to support it. Then you need to put a hydraulic jack under the oil pan with a block of wood to support the engine. Slightly raise the jack to get the weight off the engine and then remove the bolts holding the old mount in. Make sure to take your time and all should go well. Make sure the wood is flat under the oil pan and not on your drain plug or you could bend the pan. You don't want to do that.
