The polarity-reversing relay is located under the driver-side dash and is mounted by a push-through keeper to the circular, raised section of the firewall. Put your steering wheel in the highest position, lie on your back with your head under the dash. Then as you (or someone else) activates the door lock switch on the driver door controls, listen and feel until you can "feel" the clicking from the relay. It is a black, relatively flat, component about two inches wide and two inches long and attached to the electrical system by a multi-wire plug.

Yes, the heater uses and cools hot water from the engine that would otherwise have to be cooled in the radiator. But, this only works if there is enough water to circulate. If your engine is overheating from insufficient coolant, the heater won't be much help.

Turning off the air conditioner will always help. The air pulled in the front grille passes over the hot AC condenser before it gets to the engine radiator. The AC compressor also puts a load on the engine, so turning it off will make less heat in the engine.

It's possible that when the filter was put on, the seal ring wasn't clean, or the filter wasn't tightened enough. -In any event, this is now the occasion to fit a new oil filter if that one was more than 3,000 miles old, OR to take the existing one off and clean the seal. This should never be put on dry BTW, a smear of engine oil around the seal helps it to seat better.

check your user manual, pretty sure the spanner symbol on dash means electronic fault from gearbox or emissions. if its a corsa c then try takin the idle control valve sensor off should be siti=uated at the front of the engine bay at the top, these dry up. spray a bit of wd-40 on the sensor and turn the light off using diag kit and it should stay off, if not then use the diag kit to obtain the fault code and reason..

Axle nut torque specs are 170-203 ft.lbs

The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank on the left side of the truck just ahead of the rear tire. You have to unbolt the tank and drop it Dow to access the fuel pump from the top of the tank. This took me about 2 hrs.

Well if by tighten up the steering you mean there is excessive play in the steering wheel, this is easy....lift the hood and locate the steering gear box....on the top of the gear box you will see an adjustment screw that has a standard flat tip screwdriver head, and also has a larger lock down nut....loosen the lock down nut with the appropriate size wrench...once this is done, tighten the adjustment screw until it just barely bottoms out....be sure not to crank down the adjustment screw, it should just barely touch the bottom of it's travel path...once this is done, turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 turn....keep your screwdriver on the adjustment screw (make sure it does not turn) and tighten the lock down nut....test your adjustment by turning the steering wheel all the way to the right and left and make sure the wheel does not bind or seem overly stiff....go for a test drive and make sure the steering wheel returns to center by itself fter making a sharp turn...if it doesn't then the adjustment screw is to tight against the worm gear in the steering bok and needs to be loosened up a bit..... 1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number.

2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement

4 You can divide the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by number of teeth on the pinion.

Most Chevy's I have worked on, there is only one way to lock down the sensor with the bolt hole you fit into place with the screw that goes in it.... on both of them. Just pull out the old ones, remembering where the darn bolt hole is, line it up with the new ones in place and put the screw back in and tighten hand snug.

You also need to remove the switches from the door panel and unplug all the connectors before the panel will come off.

be careful not to damage the door panel and it's plastic attaching pegs.

drill out the pop rivet on the bottom of the handle assembly..

(be careful not to drill to far thru the panel..

replace with a new assembly..(the rod coming from the door opening assembly

needs to be connected to the handle...it has a plastic piece which the rod goes thru.

put a sheet metal screw where the rivet was or use a new pop rivet..

replace the inner door panel

replace the switches ..

Buckle your seatbelt. Now if the alarm is on even after buckling up, take it to the dealer as it is still under warranty. If you just want to be stupid and not wear your seatbelt, I will not help you.

Your not the only one with this problem, I feel it was a poor design. The only way to get it down is to lower it as far as you can. Then you have to cut the cable. Either get up above and cut the cable or cut it where the piece comes threw the center of the wheel. If you take it to a Chevrolette shop, they'll usually use a die grinder cutting wheel. After all of that, you will have to replace the hoist assembly.

I can not swear to it on your 95 but on my 94 suburban the jack is on the drivers side under the cupholder on the rear wheel well in front of the spare tire. hope this helps.

If your vehicle has an engine oil cooler ther will be two hydraulic lines going to each side of your radiator. If there are only lines going to one side of your radiator, then it doesn't have an engine oil cooler.

You can get a wiring diagram for a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban from a Chevrolet dealership. They will be able to print you off a copy of the diagram. Auto part stores may also be able to help you get a copy of the diagram.

Should be located on the left hand side towards the rear of the engine downlow, (that is if it is the same as a 1999 Chevy suburban k1500 4x4.) This will be much easier to see from underneath the vehicle. Just an FYI, if you are going to do an oil change and you do have the 4x4 version, you may want to cut a piece of plastic and wrap it around the u-joints going into the transaxle as it is just below the oil filter and tends to get oil all over the u-joint. I just did my oil cooler lines, oil and filter 30 minutes ago. I used Dorman oil cooler lines that I bought locally for $24.00 and @25.00 each. Chalk up another three or four hundred dollars saved by doing it yourself. Hope this helps.
