Is it ok just to have one rabbit?

All you have to do is think of how they live in the wild and rabbits are family group animals very rarely living alone.

I recently had two sisters one of whom unfortunately died in spite of all efforts. The remaining sister, Kiss, now has a new female bunny friend, Mimi.

Just very slow and careful introductions until they get to know one another and to be sure they do actually get on. Now my two play, groom each other and actively look for one another while I am in the process of moving them from hutch to one of their garden pens.

I think it is unkind to keep any gregarious animal alone , far better for them to have a friend and companion.

How intelligent are chimpanzees?

Chimpanzees are one of the smartest animals in the world. An example would be that chimpanzees can recognize their own reflection in a mirror; while other animals would not. There are several other animals, including all of the great apes, that can pass the "mirror test" as well, but chimps are smart. They seem to possess at least some of the theory of mind where they can act as if they know what another animal can see and how that animal will react to a given action (i.e. maybe they can reason what that other animal is thinking, and therefore that that other animal can think). However, in terms of using human cues, chimps seem to be worse than dogs. They do seem to know how to cooperate to achieve a goal and when they should cooperate.

What do gorillas eat with?

You wouldn't want to share a gorilla's dinner. Unless, of course, you like the taste of baby insects called grubs. Gorillas also eat leaves, bark, shoots, stems, roots, flowers, and fruit. Some gorillas also eat adult insects, such as termites.

The choice of foods varies, depending on the gorillas' habitat. Mountain gorillas eat bamboo and herbs that they find near the ground, and lowland gorillas climb to find ripe fruit.

Most of the regular plant life in a gorilla's habitat is a poor source of nutrients and calories, which the animal needs to grow and stay healthy. For this reason, a gorilla will even eat soil if it contains needed minerals.

The mammal trait of having fur is an example of a derived character because?

A synapomorphic (derived) character is defined as a trait that multiple taxa and their last common ancestor possess, but that the ancestor of this last common ancestor did not possess. The multiple taxa in this case could be the 29 orders of mammals, all of which have fur. All mammals descend from cynodonts. It is probable that cynodonts were covered in fur. Cynodonts evolved (with various steps in between) from early amniotes, which did not have fur. We do not know when exactly fur appeared in the evolution of mammals.

Do plants take in carbon dioxide from the air?

Plants take in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to use in the dark reactions (Calvin Cycle) of photosynthesis, and oxygen is released into the atmosphere as a byproduct of photosynthesis.

Who would win if it was sideswipe vs mirage transformers?

It would be a very close match. Sideswipe is a very good warrior, and he has slightly more longer melee weapons, and that gives him the edge. However, Mirage is just as skilled in combat, and has the power to turn invisible. He also has two long melee weapons. But the power to turn invisible and the wits to outsmart any sensor gives Mirage the upper hand. It would be a very violent battle, but in the end, mirage would win. Mirage also uses guns, but sideswipe usually doesn't. Either Mirage would snipe Sideswipe, or pepper him with bullets. Mirage also has hookwhips, and that gives him a lot more weapons and choices, which would let Mirage win. Even in vehicular combat, Mirage has the edge, because, in my opinion, a ferrari is better than a stingray.

There is overwhelming evidence pointing to Chimps eating meat. Gorillas have long been thought to be strictly vegetarians. However, recent evidence suggests that gorillas may indeed eat meat. Meat proteins were discovered in the scat samples of some gorillas.

Your hamster has a broken leg so she can't climb or use her wheel she is bored what can you do for her?

If your hamster has a broken leg, it needs treatment from the vet. See the related question.

If you have already had the vet treat your hamster, then it is important to keep the hamster quiet while the leg heals. She is probably not bored, but tired, as healing takes a lot of energy, especially early on.

You can vary your hamsters food a little, and give it your company: talk to it and pat it gently.

In simanimals Africa how do you break the rocks at the gorilla place?

What did you mean by "rocks"?

The gorilla place is called the Temple of Life. The rocks are blocking the rivers, which are then also making the Tree of Life sick. The player is commanded by the Gorilla Totem to save it, first off by breaking the walls. The player must get Level 2 Strength into a Rhinoceros and Charge to it. The Rhino will break every one, but that is not the complete rescue of the tree...

As with all places, a Level 2 Strength Rhinoceros can break any rocks at the gorilla place (called the Temple of Life). The player can find treasures underneath. In order to get Level 2 Strength, the player must master the animal at Ring Toss.
