What Wireless headphones OEM works with Honda Odyssey 2006?

Hi there - I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey, and I had a heck of a time trying to find IR headphones that would work with it. Of course, you can go to the dealer and get headphones from there. The only problem, is they cost over $200. That's a lot of money for something my kids are going to be using, abusing, and losing (probably....). So, I went on eBay in search of a cheaper solution - lots of people will sell the OEM Honda headphones on eBay - but they are also a bit expensive. Then I went on a few other websites, and ran across http://www.audiovideo2go.com which sells Honda Odyssey headphones for much cheaper than the dealer. I ended up getting an "after market" pair for $40. And of course, my boys lost them - so I had to buy another pair. Thankfully for that price, I can get several replacements :) Anyway, I hope this helps!

Where is Air conditioner fuse 2006 Honda odyssey?

Did you get an answer? Mine just went too and NONE of the fuses seem to indicate that they are for the AC. One was called Cooling fan... and happened to be blown... but replacing it didn't seem to do anything. Makes me wonder what that "cooling fan" is and how long I was without it.

Same problem, same model year. Cannot locate a fuse for AC. 4 fuse boxes and no AC fuse?

Where is your flasher relay 2003 Honda Odyssey?

The Honda Factory Service Manual for the Odyssey has this to say:

Page 22-86 says: 1. Write down the anti-theft codes for the radio. 2. Disconnect the battery negative cable, then positive cable, then wait at least 3 min. 3. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover (See page 20-69). 4. Remove the door sill molding and left kick panel (See page 20-58). 5. Disconnect the connectors on the fuse side of the driver's fuse/relay box. 6. Remove the mounting bolt release clips (C) at the middle on both sides of the box, and pull the fuse/relay box away from the body. 7. Disconnect the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box connectors, and remove the box.

(I note that #6 should mention to remove the very visible single 10mm nut holding the box in place.)

Then, Page 22-136 says: 1. Remove the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box (see page 22-86). 2. Remove the turn signal/hazard relay (A) from the driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box (B).

I wish I could give you pictures. Basically, on the left wall of the driver's foot compartment there's a gray box with connectors & fuses visible, kind of behind the parking brake pedal. This is the "driver's under-dash fuse/relay box", and it's held on by one nut and a whole bunch of wires, which are in turn restrained by the kick panel, which is held in place by a trim nut and the driver's door molding. The turn signal relay is on the back side of the "driver's under-dash fuse/relay box" - looks to be the only relay-looking black "module" with three connectors on the back side. Note, the FSM has warnings about "Supplemental Restraint System components" all over the place - meaning watch what you jolt or short-circuit or you risk blowing the airbag.

The FSM has a nice troubleshooting table, but basically, if the 7.5 amp Fuse #10 on the "Driver's under-dash fuse/relay box" isn't blown, and if the 15a Fuse #49 on the under-hood fuse-relay box isn't blown, it's either a bad ground or broken wire somewhere, or the relay. Full troubleshooting is always best, but the relay is comparatively cheap, about $30 online, so that's the risk of not troubleshooting beyond checking the fuses.

A note on difficulty level: I've been working for more than an hour and still haven't gotten the "driver's under-dash fuse/relay box" loose yet. I'm a very experienced amateur mechanic, and it's just a matter of time and patience, but so far it's been a booger. Good luck.

How do you replace a 2005 Honda Odyssey battery?

Take your car keys. Insert them into the ignition. Start your car. Drive to your dealer or mechanic. Give them your car. Say, "Please change my car battery". Give them your keys. Pour yourself a coffee and take a seat. Wait 30 minutes. Take your wallet. Remove some cash. Get back your keys. Drive back home.

I hope that helps!

Who wrote the above non answer?

What a lame answer that was given to this good question. I have changed many batteries in my lifetime, and I have never come across such a difficult one to remove as in the 2005 Honda odyssey. The screws holding the cables to the posts are practically impossible to get at. Is a special tool needed? I've tried adjustable wrenches, but there is not enough clearance to get to the heads. The guy who answered, 'take your keys, start your car and bring it to the dealer to change' should be removed from answers.com. We don't need that type of person on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you fill transmission fluid 2000 Honda Odyssey?

I have read several postings on other sites where people just suggest a funnel with a narrow enough tube to fill through the dipstick hole (the yellow fingerloop dipstick to the left of the battery), However the actual "fill" hole is located just behind that ( towards the firewall). There is a 17 mm bolt plugging the hole. It's just slightly larger than the other bolts around it, and it has "ATF" stamped on top of it. Hope this Helps!!

Disconnect the fuse for the door. It will reset and work again. You can also disconnect the battery. A little WD40 on the rollars will help as well.

The fuse is labeled "tail" and it's the lower left one in the glove box fuses

How do you replace the center high-mounted brake lamp on a 1997 LS 400?

Mine is the 2000, LS 400 and it is replaced by gently squeezing and lifting the lamp assembly from the back seat while inside the car. If it has been slightly warped by the sun (as mine was) you may want to use a small screwdriver to "gently" pry it up from the left and right sides.

Just be careful and you can get it to release.

How do you fix a 2007 Honda Odyssey with air conditioning that intermittently goes out?

The problem is the clutch or coil is going out. On extremely hot days the a/c will no longer work because the clutch or coil gets too hot. The clutch must be replaced along with the coil that activates it. The unit usually has to be pulled out by a shop as the freon will need to be replaced. Expensive job. No easy way around this problem. For a little more you could have a new after market compressor put in that includes a warranty...

How do you change front brake pads on a 1994 Ranger?

There are two sets of pins in each side of vehicle, one set on top of brake pads and one on bottom. All you need to do is push/pull the pins out with large screw driver.

You can use a large "C" clamp to compress the piston to aid in removing the pads. I would recomend taking the cover off the master cylinder reservoir (where you add brake fluid) to make it easier to compress the piston. Then, follow the advice above to remove the pins. They are two triangular shaped metal pieces with a material, similar to silicon, between them.
