What are the effects of terrorism on people?
Well, think about it first from a physical aspect. By that I mean the actual, tangible damage terrorism does. Recently the Boston Marathon was victim to terrorism by bombing. Those bombs did terrible damage to both the location and the people involved. Same thing with the Twin Tower bombings on september 11th, 2001. Note that there are, unfortunately, far more instances of terrorism in the world, but I'm going to stick with those two.
Despite the considerable physical damage terrorism can do, mental damage is, unequivocally, what does the most damage. The runners of the Boston Marathon were fairly prominent runners. It's an exclusive marathon, you can't just join on a whim, you need to be an experienced runner. Thanks to the bombing-induced injuries sustained, many of these competitors will never be able to run again. Then you have to consider the family members of the injured and deceased. The damage emotional loss like that can do is insurmountable.
Even someone who isn't personally affected is, in actuality, still affected by terrorism. Have you ever heard people complain about airport security? Well, that inconvenience exists because of terrorism. Terrorism is something that instills fear, anger, and sadness into people. It's a horrible concept that we may never fully eradicate. However, we'll always be working hard to reduce it's occurrences as much as possible.

The superiority theory says that we laugh at jokes that focus on someone else's mistakes, stupidity or misfortune because we feel superior to this person. The relief theory says that we relieve our tension and stress as a way of cleansing our system to help us cope with these stressful or tense situations.

How do you hide that you're a crossdresser?
It depends: are you under 18 or over? Still live at home with parents or on your own? Married or single? Live with other people or alone? In a big city or small?
The heart of the matter is that you need to be safe; not feel safe, be safe. If being known as a crossdresser is dangerous it's best to put it away until you are in a safer position. If you cannot dress then either you exercise as much self-control as possible or be out to just a few people. A transvestite is ALWAYS a transvestite, like an alcoholic is always an alcoholic, whether dry or drunk. You can underdress (works for some trqansvestites) - wear boys clothes over girls lingerie (usually just panties or hose .. bras can show too easily.) If you absolutely have to be out, beware of really unsafe places and avoid them like the plague.
