in the trunk right side where the antenna is at. it is in your trunk . right hand side where the antenna is at . you would have to remove the panel first to get to it .. it will be a lime green relay ,not the blue one

I have a 1996 Q45 and my owners manual recommends 5W-30 motor oil. I guess its the same for whatever year.

Try putting the car in neutral and try to start it if it doesn't start you might need a new starter we just went through that problem

I am answering my own question.Finally! I took my Infiniti Q45 (1994) to a mechanic who listened to my concerns. I told him that my car stalls when attempting to excellerate, the check engine light would come on, and that the vehicle would sometimes completely shut down. The mechanic told me to take the vehicle to a shop to have the fuel injectors cleaned.This cost me $79.99 at Sears auto center. I also changed my air filter.This cost an additional $30. MY CAR RUNS GREAT AGAIN! (The dealership said that it sounds like the fuel pump was getting ready to go up. it was whinning.This would have cost me around $900). My Q45 0f 10 years ownership runs almost as it did when I first purchased it!

The fuel tank itself is behind the rear seat. I believe pulling the wall panel at the rear of the trunk will allow you to see it.

Generally if your model has that option available, the harness includes the plug=ins. Look for them tucked up out of the way perhaps with protectors attached.

the fuse box is on the drivers side under the steering wheel all the way in the back left, there are many fuses so be prepared! and also under the hood on the passsenger side is another oen

22 inch rims will fit on a 1997 to 2001 q45 . i just put a set on my 97 . they are a +35 offset , 22x8 with a 235/30ZR22 tire . the front struts require a little modification or you can install a set of coilovers . the rears have plenty of clearance in all directions . keep in mind these tires are about 1.5 inches taller overall than stock and your gas mileage will take a hit . im not gonna lie , it looks sik !!!

Its tricky but if you're patient you can do it threw the storage space in the back seat

Take out the seat bottom

Take the seat back off is hooks

remove the package tray

remove the plastic storage box

Then grab lots of towels

Then grab a few more just in case

then the fuel lines off the tank

unplug wires

then unscrew all the screws around the outside of the sending unit

CAREFULLY maneuver the sending unit out of the tank without messing up the fuel level sender thing

the fuel pump is at the bottom remove 2 wires and 2 fuel lines put the new one in its place and put all back together in reverse order

my car use to start but it sat for a while now it clicks at the box that has the abs relay switch; what could be the problem?

it has a chain and when it needs replacing it will rattle and make alot of noise it souns likes the liftes but its the chain

You may never need to on this car. Timing chains are far more durable than the belts on other cars.

If you are referring to the 3rd brake lamp assembly, all you have to do is pull the left side of the plastic mount toward you if you are sitting in the back seat. the assembly pops right out and the bulb can be replaced.

no 5=how many holes/bolts and 130mm or 112mm relates to the the distance between bolts. if you use the 5x130 on the 5x112 the holes will not match up because the holes are more spread out than the 5x112.
