There are different climates in Iran. for example in the southern provinces, especially the island Kish (in south of Iran), you can enjoy fine, warm weather and it is so nice to take a trip there but in the north and the west of Iran the weather is so cold almost -18 C and it's great for a winter trip, skiing etc.

Christmas in Iran is known as the Little Feast. For the first 25 days of December, a great fast is observed, during which no meat, eggs, milk, or cheese is eaten.
