Ithaca Firearms

I have seen a couple of these. One sold on auction recently for $575, and another is listed on Gunbroker.com for an opening bid of $995, but it has not yet had a bid.

Not sure of the value but i have that exact same 20 gauge with the same engraving on it that my mother gave to me and she got it new as a gift 2 years after i was born so that would make it around 28 years old. Its also the best shotgun ive ever owned.

I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THE VERY SAME QUESTION AND I HAVE FOUND THAT IS RANGES FROM $75-$125 DEPENDING ON THE CONDITION OF THE FIREARM

This firearm, manufactured in 1892, is refered to as a Crass Model after its designer. Although this was advertised as Ithacas first hammerless shotgun they were also made, I believe, in an exposed hammer model which can affect the value. They were made in many different grades and guages which can also have a major affect on value. A 12 guage field grade hammerless gun, probably the most common, in poor condition would probably bring only about $300 bucks and that assumes that it is in working condition.

You can. If it's not already drilled and tapped for a scope, you would be best advised to have a gunsmith perform this work. But be forewarned that such modification could reduce the value.

depends on where you got it. I got mine from my grandpa so its priceless. Otherwise between 1,000 and 2,000. Im actually trying to research its value myself

I believe that it was made in 1969. Depending on its condition it is worth between $250-$350.

i payed 300 for one about ten years at a gun show mine is about 90% i wouldn't take that for it now lol

This was made in 1961. The Gun is the Light Twelve model. The second character in the serial number is actually the letter "G" and not a number "6" as described.

There are many people that have heard that term over the last Century, and it's understandable that many people do not know. In a nutshell, It's a Browning Arms Co. Gun that was made in Herstal Belgium at The plant of Fabrique Nationale (FN). Bewtween 1903 and 1976 most all Browning guns were made in Belgium. Some guns are still made at the Custom shop of FN, but the majority are now made in Japan. To say a gun is a "Belgian Browning", it is synonymous with quality. The handcrafted work that went into Belgian Browning guns is widely accepted as some of the finest mass produced guns ever made.

YGBKM...No way....If you can tell me where I can buy (Ithaca/SKB or SKB) 900XL shotguns for $300, I'll buy 10 of them.

the gun is an old side by side 16 gauge with the words "nitro powder steel" stamped onto the rib. Fletcher Special is the only other marking on the actual metal part of the gun, the butt plate is the only indication that it is an ithaca...any ideas are appreciated

I have an Ithaca model 100 shotgun . It appraised for $700.
