Ithaca did not manufacture any high powered rifles, but did import and distribute some on different occasions in partnership with LSA and BSA in particular. Sounds like what you have is an "Ithaca-BSA" bolt action sold between 1976 and 1978. It was available in both the 300 Win mag and the 7 mm Rem mag. Retail price at that time was $319.95
Where can i find a forend for a Ithaca model 900 tweleve gauge semi-auto shotgun?
First try gunpartscorp.com which is the largest gun parts house in the country. If that fails, search the net for other parts sources. You might try auctionarms.com where some parts are advertised. I had heard that eBay was not allowing any gun part auctions however as of 9/15/07 there are still trades being conducted including Ithaca forends (no model 900's at the moment).

Where can you find information about an Ithaca double barrel double trigger shotgun serial 324199?
www.diamondgunsmithing.com - This guy worked for Ithaca, supposedly the best. www.stephenolin.com, this guy did the engraving for them. good luck
If the shotgun is a hammerless double, it is a Baker Model produced in 1899 (per Dixie Gun Works, Ithaca Serialization Guide) That serial should be a 1926 production NID. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Most serial numbers on lever action guns are founr under the lever. I would check there. On all firearms manufactured in the US after 1968, a unique (for the model) identifying serial number must be on the receiver. You will not find a serial number on the barrel. Marlin serializes Model 336 rifles on the upper tang behind the hammer. Early Marlin rifles were serialized on the lower tang behind the trigger before 1968, but since that is a removable part it would not satisfy federal requirements under the Gun Control Act of 1968.
Was an Ithaca Mag 10 Sn 100015576 made to shoot modern steel factory loads or is it safe to do so?
if it's an "ithaca mag-10", it was introduced in 1977 and discontinued in 1986, the answer to your question is yes it is safe to shoot steel loads, however you may want to have the choke measured at the muzzle by you local gunsmith.too much constriction could result in a barrel ring and a more open choke should give you a better pattern with larger sizes of steel shot i.e. t and bbb. pbl

Remove the forearm stock by pulling from the front down(It pulls hard). On the underside of the forearm stock is your serial number. Go to; Diamond Gun Smithing on the internet and look up your serial number. If you find models; click on each model until your serial nuber appears. Example; Serial number 263xxx=Flues model and made in 1915. Good luck and keep that really super shotgun
Can pits be taken out of the inside of muzzleloader or new barrel with same serial no be bought?
In answer to part two of your question, you usually cannot get a new barrel with the same serial number, however; the part of the firearm that must have a serial number is the frame of the firearm. In other words, a replacement barrel with a different serial number is kosher. Many firearms manufacturers will replace the barrel with a new one that has the old serial number along with additional numbers/symbols/letters to indicate it is a replacement as long as you send it to the manufacturer for repair.
In answer to the first part, maybe. Without knowing how bad the pits are, and any other possible problems you might not see, it is not possible to give a definitive answer on you case. Consult a gunsmith.
There are very few firearms that are serial numbered on the barrel to match the frame/receiver. There is no requirement to have a number on the barrel.
