All you need to connect it to your laptop is a USB cable to plug into the printer so it can connect to the laptop. If your printer came with a CD, then install it using that.

Most of the time you need a Type A to Type B USB cable to connect printer to a PC or Laptop. Both side connector are different. You can get these cheap (less than $3-4) on internet or in discount electronics stores.

One of the main problems with lag is having too many programs running in the background. If you open the task manager and close these programs, you will have more success running your projector.

I can only think of two ways you can connect two computers if they don't have network cards: 1. Use a serial cable. All computers have serial ports, so this would be the easiest solution, though it will be a little slow. Look up directions online on how to do this. 2. If both computers have an IR (infra-red) port you can use that to connect the two. In my opinion, MAC laptops or desktops are the best computer for these high end applications. The stability and speed of the operating system are primary concerns, and I have never been happy with any windows platform. If you prefer to work in the PC environment there are adequate systems available, look for quality of components and do a little research in this area before you talk to a salesman.

Yes, you can. You have to have wireless card on both. And in wireless properties choose pc-to-pc connection. then put a static ip address. On the first one 192.168.1.1, and on the second one put static ip address 192.168.1.2. Then open cmd and type:

ping 192.168.1.1

and then

ping 192.168.1.2

If it responces and everything is ok. If it's not check previous steps again. If you have a dedicated firewall you have to open local ports (137, 139) and allow to coonect to remote ports (137, 139).
