If you look at your air intake tube you should see a connector going to it, that connector is going to your iat sensor.

Ther is no connector on air intake tube but severl connector on intake manifold?

The switch isn't repairable and should be replaced if bad. It's located on the bar where the brake pedal is attached.

Try disconecting the battery for 5 min.s and reconecting.

The flasher relay is located on top of the fuse box under the steering wheel. You will have to unscrew fuse box and disconnect it to access the top of the box. The relay is the oversized fuse and has 5 prongs. Hope this helps, I just did this today myself.

I had to take my mountaineer to a mercury dealer and it took them about 5 minutes. They connected my car to a computer and the computer gave them the code. Its been working ever since they also showed me how to change it if I wanted. Try that!

There is no dipstick, the transmission is a completely sealed system. You have to take to dealer for service.

check on the frame on the driver side under the vehicle. the filter is located on the drivers side tucked under a frame rail under the drivers door

Your engine oil could be low check it when it cools and if level is fine your oil pressure sending unit could be bad or engine in need of rebuilding

It has a vacuum leak somewhere.

To replace the battery cables on a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer, loosen the connectors at the terminals. After this, remove the other end of the cables and install new ones.
