Is having swollen feelings on your legs a sign of early pregnancy?
Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. Here is a link to a website that will calculate the probability of your pregnancy: http://www.thepregnancytest.com/
At 6 weeks, the baby's heartbeat can register on an ultrasound. If the Yolk sack is void of a live foetus, there will be no heartbeat. You will either sponstaniously abort this pregnancy (miscarry) or your doctor will recommend a D+C. The information above is not entirely correct. If you are off by a few days on impantation the fetal pole may not have developed yet. This is why many doctors do not like to do early ultrasounds. Fetal Poles usually develop between 5.5 weeks and 6.5 weeks. Don't give up hope yet! I just had a transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks gestation. The yolk sac was visible and pregnancy was confirmed but no heartbeat was detected. In a week, another ultrasound will be done to look for the fetal pole. The obstetrician noted that everything appeared normal except for not seeing the heartbeat. He noted that it was entirely possible he just couldn't see it; thus, the scheduled ultrasound at 7 weeks. Distinct changes take place in just a week and that is what your doctor will look for to determine viability. If your Hcg levels are rising appropriately and everything else appears normal, it may just be too soon to see the heartbeat. Don't give up hope yet. I haven't. Give your baby time to develop and the doctors time to be able to see it.
Is a period for one day and spotting for 3 normal?
It could be normal for you. Or you could experience a variation in your period at any time due to stress, change in diet, illness, lack of sleep, hard exercise, etc. and that is normal too, and things will change back eventually or they may change to something else. Periods are notorious for being predictably unpredictable. If you are very concerned, you should consult your doctor.
I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I'm spotting plus cramping?
I am not a doctor, just a 50 yr old mother of 4. If it is just slight spotting, it might be nothing at all and pass with a bit of rest. If it does not pass, but gets worse, I hate to say this but you might be experiencing the beginning of a misscarriage. If you are a healthy young person pregnant for the first time I would say that let nature take its course because it is mother nature's way of dealing with a pregnancy that for some reason is not meant to continue. I don't recall th stats, but it is something like 25% of all pregnancies end this way so it is really very normal and does not mean at all that you wont be able to have a bby in fact probably you could get pregnant again in 2 months time. Many doctors will tell you the same thing and won't treat early bleeding other than tell you to rest. they don't consider it abnormal unless you have had 3 misscarriages in a row. If you have been desperately trying for a pregnancy and you are older and you fear you might not have many more chances due to many previous misscarriages, then I would say to go to an emergency room or your doctor if he/she is available and ask them for advice. There are pills that stop the bleeding an help to maintain the embryo in place, but you will not usually get those until you have been diagnosed as needing a special hormone or needing something specific that can be remedied by taking a special pill. In any case , do look for more professional advice just to be assured. I hope some of this information was useful.
Can mustard greens cause a miscarriage?
I doubt you can eat so much that it leads to miscarriage. If you want to abort you need to see a doctor. Otherwise just eat a normal portion.

How long do you need to wait to get pregnant after a cone biopsy?
You should see your doctor for a check up to make sure everything is healing & that all the abnormal cells were removed & have not come back or spread. I had this done, but I also had a tubal ligation at the same time.

The likelyhood of miscarriage after a fetal heartbeat?
I've read that it decreases to 3% after heartbeat is strong and detected at (or around) 8 weeks.
No sperms don´t fight with each other, they just race to get to the egg first. Only one sperm can impregnate an egg unless there are 2 eggs and both get impregnanted with one sperm each. It´s rare but happens.
Either way is the number of chromosomes not decided based on by how many sperms is racing for the egg. None of all of this can cause a miscarriage.
Does your stomach stop moving when you are sleeping?
The digestive system slows down when we are asleep, but it does not stop moving completely. See link below.
Is their still hope if no embryo was present in ultrasound at 6 weeks?
yes! i went in for an ultrasound and thought i was 7 weeks and having a miscarriage. The ultrasound showed no embryo only a yoke sac. I went to my regular doctor the next week and it was there and i was 7 weeks on that day. so just wait it out!
It appears after 22 days of pregnancy. It comes from primary yolk sac. Primary yolk sac gets enclosed inside from folding of the fetus, the rest is secondary yolk sac, which goes down to mesoderm and shrinks.

When pregnant you shouldn't take aspirin but it can not cause miscarriage. Pepsi does def not cause anything but high blood sugar and possibly cavities.
Hi... my friend went through this previously. She took a home pregnancy test, it was positive. When she went in for an ultrasound, they said there was no baby in there, only a sac. She thought that they were crazy, so she got a 2nd opinion...same thing. The doctor told her it would pass naturally. But beware... when she called me and she was passing it, I rushed to her house and she was completely incoherent and had lost way too much blood. I called an ambulance and they took her in for surgery. All I can say, is while yes it is weird it is also possible, but please make sure you call someone if you suspect something unusual. This is a fairly common finding before a miscarriage. The embryo does not develop so the placenta is miscarried.
There are two answers to this - one good and one bad. The most probable answer is that you miscalculated and you are actually 5 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately there is a possibility that you did fall pregnant 9 weeks ago and that the pregnancy will not progress. It is possible that either the fetus is not developing, or that the fetus has died which usually means the gestational sac will shrink and appear to be not as advanced as you are.
What can happen in Minnesota if an 18-year-old gets a 14-year-old pregnant and could he go to jail?
Yes, he can go to jail for statutory rape of a minor. The 18-year old is considered a legal adult in most states including Minnesota, the 14-year old is a minor and beneath the age of engaging in consensual sex in ALL states. Therefore, the adult male could be charged with numerous crimes including but not limited to statutory rape, which is a high priority felony in all 50 states and punishable by mandatory incarceration. Other charges that could arise are corruption of the morals of a minor, coercion and/or intimidation of an underage person, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and several other felony and/or misdemeanor charges. In most states there is an age limit or other wise known as the age of consent. She just happens to be 14yrs old and the age of consent in Minnesota is 16 yrs old. If the male is 18yrs old and has sexual intercourse with this minor then there is a deffinate chance that he can go to jail but in this case it would probably be prison. There is an upside though, if both the 14yr olds parents and the 18yr olds partents approve of the two being together than their should be no problem with the law. If this is the total opposite than he is in BIG trouble. GOO LUCK
When do you ovulate after a miscarriage is it after the bleding stops or before?
If you were in your first trimester, you'll probably have a period within 4 to 6 weeks, possibly a few longer. You may ovulate around 14 days before that period, or you may not ovulate until your next cycle. It takes a while for your hormones to go back to a normal cycle, and it varies greatly from woman to woman. You can use cervical mucus checking and ovulation predictor kids to help determine when you will probably ovulate, and take your temperature every morning before you get out of bed to see if you did (it will go up a little bit and stay up until your next period within the day or two after you ovulate). If you are still bleeding I'd guess not, but if you bled for more than a week it could be possible, although unlikely.
sorry, ypou had a miscarriage. Your next two or three periods may be very light . Joymaker RN
