Nomads are any community of people who have no settled home. They wander from place to place seeking fresh sources of food for themselves or fresh pastures for their animals. Some nomadic groups move among settled people selling small items they have made, doing specialized mending, entertaining or begging. Nomads keep themselves separate from other people and usually speak their own language among themselves even though they also know the languages of the people around them.

There have been nomadic peoples since at least about 8500 BC.
But nomads are definitely not ancient history. There are still many "pastoral" nomads who follow the herds they depend on. They may also tend the herds. There are nomads in Mongolia who herd camels, Inuits in the Arctic who follow the caribou, and desert and plains peoples in Africa. And there are many more.
These days there are even RV nomads who camp in one place after another, never actually settling down.

Men think different from women and while women can sometimes thinking about the romance of a relationship that could happen or is happening, often men can be 1,000 miles away and thinking about what the score is going to be on the next football game.
