What happens if you stay in a cod MW2 modded lobby and the nuke blows up?

its like what normally happens though if you stay in that lobby for 14+ hours you may have a problem

What followed the arm race?

What makes you think it's over? Look at Sukhoi SU-47, F-22 Raptor, Zumwalt class destroyer, Virginia-class submarine, armed Predator drones, anti-satellite weapons tests, 30,000 pound bunker-buster bombs, all in the last 10 years.

What has changed is that now our biggest competitor is changing from Russia or the former Soviet Union to China, whose military expenditures are skyrocketing. They recently launched their first aircraft carrier, a 60,000 ton rebuild of an unfinished former Soviet aircraft carrier, and are building two more like it. They have a long range land attack cruise missile and a new ballistic anti-ship missile which worries US military planners. They have successfully tested anti-satellite weapons, and have nuclear powered ballistic missile and attack submarines. They have an estimated 400 nuclear warheads at present.

They are building their own 3rd generation of jet fighters, such as the Shenyang J-11 and Shenyang J-15, based on Russian designs like the SU-27 and SU-33, which have been displayed at airshows and have performance comparable to the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, or Dassault Rafale. And let's not forget the size of their armed forces, by far the largest in the world at about 2.8 million active duty personnel.

What if the US did not drop a nuke on Japan?

they would have dropped one on them anyways or still won the war

How do you get a tactical nuke fast?

First of all use the killstreaks harrier, chopper gunner, and tactical nuke (of course). Then, personally, i use a silenced assault weapon since most of them are all purpose. Then i use scavenger, stopping power, and commando in case someone sneaks up on you. If you want to get one fast you should probably camp, unfortunately.

Can a roach survive a nuclear bomb?

Yes and No. Yes if they are in an enclosed space they are immune to radiation given off from a nuclear bomb. Also, If they are in an enclosed space or underground then they will be able to survive the shock wave and ground zero. No, if they are above ground when the shock wave comes around they will be killed just like any other thing. (By the way when i say enclosed space i mean really enclosed like inside a phone pole r something) But chances are they will die at ground zero. The only real dangers to them are the shock wave and ground zero

Can any country could dare to start a nuclear war?

The only country with nuclear weapons who can dare to start a nuclear war is Pakistan coz they have no brains

What is Japans attitude toward nuclear facilities and weapons?

They are a leader in the use of nuclear power. Only the United States is a hold out on using this awesome fuel source.

Nuclear weapons are another issue. They, for obvious reasons, do not support the buildup of these weapons.

Can humans survive the radiation of a nuclear blast?

depends on where it is detonated from ground zero to 5miles you would be killed instantly from 10 miles proberly get 3rd degree burns and radiation poisioning after 15 miles mostly fires, windows broken and nuclear winter and radiation sickness without medical care

How many people does a tactical nuke kill?

When it does start eventually1995 Aurora starter just clicks one time each time you turn the ignition Is this the starter failing because when it starts starts like a champdoesn't do it every time?

I would start by checking and cleaning the battery cables.Might be something as easy as that. Also I would try hooking up jumpper cables to the connections under the hood. this would elimanate the battery and all cables from under the rear seat. If it starts fine with jumpper cables trace it backward to fine bad cable. now the bad news,if none of this helps it is most likely a bad start solinoid witch is mounted on top of the starter. More bad news the starter is under the intake manifold. This is a a job to remove the manifold and injectors and wiring to get to the starter.Hopefully the lose or dirt battery cables fixes the problem. Good luck, hope this helps, Ben Parker, San Jose, Ca.

How deadly are the nuclear submarine's missiles?

Their yields are about the same as most land based ICBM warheads or bombs dropped by airplanes: from 100 kiloton to 300 kilotons. Yields in the megaton range as were common in the 1950s through 1970s have been shown to have few real military uses and more damage can be done using several bombs of less total yield at lower cost using warheads in the 100 kiloton to 300 kiloton range.

Deaths will depend on too many variables outside the characteristics of the warheads/bombs themselves, including the target, burst height, availability of shelters, emergency preparedness of the population, etc.

Where in the pacific ocean were nuclear weapons tested after world war 2?

The US tested on Bikini atoll, Eniwetok atoll, and launched some high altitude tests from Johnston island on rockets.

The UK tested on Christmas island.

What were the fuel oxidizer combinations used on each of the stages of the Titan II missile?

Both stages of the Titan II rocket used Aerozine-50 (a combination of 50% UDMH [unsymmetric dimethylhydrazine] and 50% MMH (monomethylhydrazine) as the fuel, and dinitrogen tetroxide as the oxidizer.

Interestingly, the LR-87 engines that powered the first stage of Titan II, as well as the LR-91 engine that powered the second stage, were both also capable of burning two other combinations of propellant - LH2 (liquid hydrogen) and LOX (liquid oxygen) as well as RP-1 (kerosene) and LOX.

How do you get all the manicans head popped of on Nuke down Black Ops?

you can shoot their heads off, or you can walk up really close and aim at their heads and melee.

What size of nuclear bomb made with one ton of uranium?

Its really hard to say, the only nuclear bomb that might contain that much uranium (probably as depleted uranium) would be a hydrogen fusion bomb with a uranium tamper.

Depending on many design features, it would probably weigh a bit under 2 tons and have a yield somewhere between 2 megatons and 20 megatons, most of that produced by fission of the uranium tamper.

NO nuclear bomb could ever contain that much weapons grade uranium, as it would be so far beyond critical that it would simply melt in the factory as it was being assembled and kill anyone nearby with neutron and gamma radiation.

How is a blast radius calculated?

See the book The Effects of Nuclear Weapons for equations. My copy came with a circular slide rule that calculates that for optimal altitude airburst and surface burst over a yield range of 1 KTon to 10 MTon. It also calculates many other effects.

Why did the US drop a hydrogen bomb on the Marshal Islands?

Some 43 nuclear tests were detonated at Enewetak from 1948 to 1958. The first hydrogen bomb test, code-named Mike, was tested on November 1, 1952. The explosion vaporized the island of Elugelab. This was done for testing.
