yes, they are the same engine. however the neons changed the electrical connectors in 1997 so if your breeze is 97 or up then try to get a neon motor from 97 or up. if you cant, then you will have to change all the sensors.

Power does not go to the battery, it comes from the battery, except when the car is running. At that time power does go to the battery from the alternator. Disconnect the + battery terminal.

yes you can. Attatch a wire from the positive side of the coil, to the positive side of the battery. Bumb the starter with a screw driver and it should start. However you may not be able to drive it since it has a lock steering wheel

Mine is on the back of the engine block.. right above the drive axle , there is one there called crankshaft sensor and then right above it is the oil pressure sensor mine has one wire coming out of it...

Fuel gauges operate using a float and sensor. The float literally floats on top of the fuel. The sensor detects the position of the float. If the fuel level is high, the float stays relatively near the top. Once the fuel level starts to go down the float drops. When you push on the brakes, the fuel moves around in the tank, the way liquids do. The result is that the float moves to the top of the fuel and the gauge points to a corresponding position. Certainly there can be more accurate and reliable methods of determining fuel level. But you just need to recognize that the gauge is only reliable when the car is going straight, level and constant speed. The 'better' fuel gauge would cost many times more than the one that's in your car right now, and it wouldn't necessarily be more reliable, all it would do is stop the gauge from moving around when you take a corner or step on the brakes. What you have works. It's a relatively reliable technology.

You may need to put the car on lift hoist in order to reach up to the latch.

Check the engine ground before replacing parts. I have a 97 Plymouth Breeze that would not turn over, but the lights and radio worked. After replacing 4 parts (starter/solenoid, ignition switch, crank case sensor and safety switch), it turned out that the engine was not grounded properly. Once the ground was reattached correctly, car started.

Vibration at idle, especially with automatic transmission, is usually caused by engine idling to slow. Now, since there is no idle adjustment screw anymore you need to have the vehicle checked at your Toyota Dealer. Some vibration, even to that level is normal. IF IT HAPPENS IN THE PROCESS OF STOPPING, WHILE BRAKING, YOUR BRAKE ROTORS ARE LIKELY OUT OF ROUND.

I'm actually getting my oil pan changed on the 2.4L engine and the only oil pan that was in stock was for a 2.0L engine and so it did not fit, the reason the engine has a bigger displacement so it needs more oil and the fitting themselves are different to match the bigger block

double check with a service manual, but you should be able to just drain it unbolt it replace the gasket and bolt on a new one

jack the car up and support the right front side under the body. remove the tire, brake caliper, the abs sensor if any. Next remove the carter pin, remove the spring washer, and then remove the large nut. I think it is 1 1/4 in should do the trick. Next take a punch and center it on the cv shaft and strike it with a hammer to remove the tension on the splines between the cv shaft and rotor drive flang. You will know it worked when you can push in the center shaft where you removed the nut from. Now remove the carter pins form the upper ball joint and the lower ball joint. Now remove the nuts on the outer tire rod end, the upper and lower ball joint. Next separate the tirerod from the knuckle arm and place a jack under the lower control arm to support it. Then separate the upper ball joint and the lower ball joint last. Now you can remove the spindle with the rotor attached from the car. You should be able to pull the cv shaft out without a problem. To assemble just do in reverse.

1. A poorly seated tire on the rim 2. The tire or wheel assembly are out of balance 3. Rim that are out of roundness 4. Tire that are out of roundness 5. Irregular tire wear

If there are problem(s) with your tires or the way they have been installed, they will most likely begin to shake and vibrate your vehicle at between 50 and 65 MPH ( 80.45 and 104.585 KM/H).

There's a high chance that the problem may be cause by unbalance wheels, a visit to your local Tire mechanics, to have the tires balance may be able to eliminate the problem.

Check your tie rod ends, balljoints, and wheel bearings. However, it is most likely that you have a bad tire (uneven spots / "runout"), a tire out of balance, or a bent rim. If you have your tire balanced and all of your suspension components are fine and it still shakes, its most likely a bent rim. The only way to fix this is to get a new rim, but that's expensive. What I did was rotate my tires, and the shake went away (bent rim moved to back). This is not the proper way to fix it, but it worked for me.

It could also be your CV Shafts, depending on if its a front wheel drive car or not, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, etc.

You need to support the engine when removing any mounts. The mounts bolt to the engine, and bolt to the unibody of the car. You can find the locations of all of the engine mounts by hunting around the engine bay or by picking up a Chiltons and Haynes manual.

Most common reason is improperly balanced wheels, next would be alignment but that usually causes a pull to the left or right.
