It's much cheaper just to dig and hole and bury it.

A:Garbage should be sent into space because if we do the garbage will float towards the Sun.The sun gets hotter as the sun burns the garbage. Then soon the climate becomes hotter in planet Earth.....and with more access of burning garbage soon the world will burn and I think the first country to burn will be the U.A.E or some place near the ARABIAN SEA.

What is the working principle of a condenser in thermal power plant?

It condenses the spent working fluid from the turbine output back to a liquid before it is recycled back into the steam generators of the power plant. This increases operating efficiency. Usually the condenser operates by running the working fluid through a network of pipes inside a tower. Water mist is sprayed on the pipes to cool them and an updraft causes a vapor cloud to exit the top of the tower.

If you have vaginal fluid constantly coming out so much that it will make your panties a bit wet is there something wrong?

I am not a doctor, but I am a biologist. I do know that secretions from the lining of the vaginal wall and from the cervix are common, and during certain cyclic times, secrete more than other times. If the fluid is clearish with no odor, it is probably fine. However, if their is an odor and the fluid has a tint of color, then you need to go see the doctor.

How can grey water cause water pollution?

Grey water is domestic waste water that does not contain sewage. This includes dishwasher water, laundry water, bath water, food preparation water etc. This water is not immediately hazardous to health like sewage but no one would claim it is clean. Such water can contain"

  • surfactants (soaps and detergents)
  • high BOD material
  • various chemical (e.g bleaches)
  • alcohol
  • suspended solids (coffee grounds etc.)
  • plastic micro spheres
  • dyes
  • oils
and other pollutants.

If discharged to a water source it will contaminate that water.

Where do the poisonous materials come from?

Paraselsus (1493-1541) stated that all things are poisonous if the dose is sufficient.

Elements and compounds typically thought to be poisonous materials can arise naturally or can be man made.

Many elements in the earths crust are poisonous:

* Lead * Arsenic * Radon Some of these elements are poisonous only after processing to higher concentrations

* Beryllium * Thorium * Chlorine

Some plants and animals produce secretions that are toxic

* Poison ivy sap * Snake venom * Wasp stings * Cyanide * Strychnine

Some things are poisonous to specific individuals but not others

* Peanuts * Seafood * Latex Some things are man-made and toxic:

* Warfarin * Methyl mercury * Nerve gas * Phosgene

What chemicals are present in the water drainage or condensate of a home air conditioner?

The chemicals present in the water drainage (condensate) from a home air conditioner will include any chemicals present in the air around the condenser. That's the air within the home. Any and all things chemical or very finely divided (microscopic dust particles, pollen, etc.) can (and probably will) end up there. Air is carried over the condenser coils of the AC unit, and everything in the air has a chance to stick to the moist coils as water in air condenses out there. Think it through and it will become obvious. Does anyone smoke in the house? Been cooking? Using hair spray? Did you just paint a room? Put in new carpet? Get a pet? Sweep and/or mop the floor? You get it.

How does pollution affect river?

Answer: Thermal (warmer water) pollution:

* Lowers the oxygen saturation point of the water making it less desirable for non tolerant species (Carp flourish, trout don't) * Promotes the growth of slimes and molds * Changes the rate of decomposition * Prevents breeding of some fish species * Changes the benthic population * Promotes overwintering of some bird species

How does the great Pacific garbage patch affect sea birds and animals?

Plastic bottles and bags dumped from ships and from storm water drains and rivers float in the oceans and the wind and currents bring them all to this great revolving Pacific Gyre. Plastic ropes and discarded fishing nets are part of it too. Scientists estimate that there is around three million tons of plastic debris there.

The sun and the oceans have broken the plastic down. As the plastic degrades it releases many toxins which get into the food chain. It also breaks up into tiny pieces which are attractive to sea birds and marine creatures. This plastic junk builds up in their stomachs till they die. Some of the particles are microscopic and filter feeders like whales are swallowing them.

"Ghost fishing" from thrown away nets are still trapping fish and marine animals. An estimated 100,000 turtles and other animals die each year, and more than one million birds.

Studies have found that even barnacles are eating tiny shreds of plastic.

A:Discovered in 1997, by an American oceanographer named Charles Moore, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is composed largely of a combination of different types of plastic, and other articles of trash floating out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. There are actually several garbage patches, but the in the pacific ocean there are two. There is an Eastern and Western Pacific Garbage Patch. They are also connected by an ocean current and pick up trash from all over the world. The Western Garbage Patch is located between Japan and Hawaii. It is somewhat smaller than the one in question here, which is the Eastern Pacific Garbage Patch, located between California and Hawaii.

The Eastern Garbage Patch has been described as being very large, and compared to the size of the state of Texas; which is one of largest states, if not the largest state, located in the United States. Large circular ocean currents called a gyre hold the trash accumulations.

How long does it take for you to get skinny if you stop eating food if you weigh about 144 llbs and you want to be about 110?

By "get skinny" you mean loose 34 pounds, I do not recoment for you to stop eating because even though you may get skinny, you will look unhealthy and it is bad for your internal organs. I imagine 2-3 weeks of no eating would make one loose that much weight. Starvation will back fire on you . The best way to see the weight drop off of you is to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day of healthy foods. The frequent small meals speeds up your metabolism and you lose weight. When you starve yourself your metabolism slows down and you will gain weight. This is the bodies way to protect itself and conservere energy for survival. I saw this happen with me. I started gaining weight and it was because I was eating less meals and the meals I did eat were bigger. Once I started eating more smaller meals my weight starting dropping again. Ruth, Dietitian
