wat if a fuel pump is the problem and gas is going to the motor and i put new spark plugs in the car and it is not still cranking up wat is the problem

Under the dash above the break pedal. Look above your horn relay and it is a round relay, that is your flasher.

The pcm is in the computer.The com is on the pansneger side under hood hinge.There is a plate with 2 screws on the com take the plate off and the pcm is under there.

First check your fuse box, then check to see if spring is bad inside the turn signal. Replace if necessary otherwise they stick after awhile just work it slowly up and down. Your turn signal should work.

The Plastic Gear Inside the Headlight is Worn, atleast half of it. You can buy a metal gear for $40 and replace the plastic gear.

The best way to change the spark plugs is to jack the car up and go from under, the center plug's will be the hardest to retrieve, make sure your new plugs are gaped right or the car won't run correctly

Depends on the state of tune, which engine/tranny is in it, and what rear gear it's equipped with.

www.autozone.com has online manuals with schematics ..that will show for sure I think last time I looked they actually go straight to the switch on the dash

I have a 1990 Pontiac firebird, and the gap on that, I believe is .035. If you still have the sticker under your hood with the engine size, it says it right on there.

E engine code (TBI) is 6 degrees BTDC for both the automatic and the manual trans I'm pretty sure the F engine code is the same (TPI). Of course any sticker under the hood that says otherwise overrides what I just said here. The way to tell whether you have the E or F engine code is; The E engine code is Throttle Body injected, and the Throttle Body injector will look a lot like a carburator. If it is F engine code, Tuned Port Fuel Injected, the throttle body will be very small and on the front of the intake plenum, there will also be 8 tubes going from the intake plenum to the intake manifold. If you can't identify these components please take it to a qualified mechanic.

The turn signal flasher is found when you remove the kick panel under the steering wheel and looking to the right (kind of on the side of where the radio is at) you will see the back side of the clip. Feel around and you should feel the flasher. I wish I could explain it better, but that's the area you should be looking in.

Everything will mount to the 455 motor.....matter infact, if you use the 400 heads, you will gain some compression in comparison to a like 455 head (ie.. 400 vs 455 6x heads). can I have your old 400 motor? Yes everthing will fit. However, if you are going to drive it on the street you do not want higher compression, the stock compression on most 1970 Pontiac 455s is about 10.25-1 (already too high for 93 octane pump gas). Changing to a 1970 400 head (around 72cc combustion chambers) will put your compression up to about 12.5-1 and require at least 105 octane fuel. If this is for the strip only, or you have a source of affordable race gas then yes higher compression will increase horsepower and torque. On pump gas shoot for about 9.5-1 compression max with iron heads. A great head for a pump gas 455 is the 1971 400 head casting number 96 it has 2.11/1.77 valves and 96cc chambers and will make about 9.5-1 with a stock 455 short block.

The fuel filter for that model and year is found in the carburetor. Follow up the fuel line from the fuel pump and you will find a large nut fitting that the line threads into. Remove this and you will find a cartridge filter.

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located near the throttle body on the intake manifold.

Located behind the radio just to the upper right corner..grey relay box about an inch by inch cube.

I don't recall the specifics, but do a search on thirdgen.org. On the third gen trip odometers, I seem to recall a small clip that comes loose on the back side of the unit. It holds the cable in place. Seems to be a common problem. Need to fix my own!

yes you should hane no problem doing this most fire birds from 81 or 82 to 91 all parts and body panels are intechangedable just make sure you line everything up right .

If there is a clunking noise on a 1991 Firebird Formula 5.0 when going below 30 mph, and the clunking noise does not happen when the clutch is depressed, it is probably a problem with the flywheel. The flywheel moves freely when the clutch is depressed. When the clutch is not depressed, it could be that something is rubbing on the flywheel, like the clutch plate.

Instead of having a 2.8 v6 or non h.o 305. It would have a 350 tpi or high output 305. It would have a different spoiler , suspension , and have formula stickers on the doors.

What exactly are you needing to know? I have a 68 Firebird sitting in the driveway. Are you needing to know colors of wires on the exterior bulbs or routing etc for the interior?
