Important! Once the BCM enters program mode, all transmitters must be programmed at the same time. Any transmitters not learned at this time will be erased.

1) Remove the key from the ignition cylinder

2) Remove the BCM PRGRM fuse from the fuse panel

3) Close all the doors

4) Close the liftgate

5) Turn the ign lock cylinder

to the ACC. position

6) Turn the ignition lock cylinder

to OFF, and then back to ACC within 1 second

7) Open and close any door

A chime will be heard when the system enters the BCM programming mode

IMPORTANT!

After 7 seconds a chime may be heard confirming successful synchronization. It is necessary to wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime that will confirm successful programming.

8) Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds

9) Repeat the previous step on each additional transmitter to be programmed.

10) Remove the ignition key from the ignition cylinder

11) Install the BCM PRGRM fuse back into the fuse panel.

Measure from the center hub of the front wheel to the center hub of the rear wheel.

GM DELCO THEFTLOCK RADIO UNLOCK CODE:

1. Press and hold presets 2 and 3 for about 5 to 10 seconds until you

get 3 digits on your display. This is the first 3 of 6 digits you will

need, so write 'em down.

2. After doing step one and writing down the code, immediately press

the

AM/FM button to get the last 3 of the 6 numbers you'll need, and write

'em down. (if you wait too long between steps 1 and 2 and the LOC code

displays again, just start over).

to press "2" for Pontiac, press 206010 and hit the # key. He'll ask

you

for the 6 digit code that you've written down. Enter that and press

the

* key. He will then give you a code, and the option to get additional

digit codes, but one should be sufficient.

4. Follow the normal procedure in your owners manual for unlocking the

radio with your new code...press the hour set button on your radio

until

you get the first two numbers of the code, then press the minute set

button until you've entered the last two numbers. Immediately press

the

AM/FM button once the correct code is entered and the code SEC or

"secured" will be displayed on the display screen. Now, just turn the

radio on, and your ready to roll.

There is an additional step you can take to remove all codes from the

radio and start from scratch by entering your own personalized 4 digit

code so that it won't get you in a pickle again! Just repeat step 4

and

you should get a display screen that reads ---. This means the code is

out, and you can now program your own code. Of course, once you

receive

the 4 digit code from the GM recorded message, just keep it in a safe

place, because you can use that same code again and again should you

have any more problems with it in the future. Good luck, and yes, it

On Passenger's side, found top one and a front one near the compressor.

Very easy. Read the can and follow directions. The refill stem is located between the radiator and the exhaust manifold . Remove the protective cap from the A C line, snap on the refill hose, connect hose to can, hold the can up side down, puncture shake can around until empty.

If your problem is that the door keeps opening and doesn't want to latch shut, then what I have been doing is carrying a piece of 3M scrubbing pad and use that to scuff up the contacts on the door and the door jam contacts. Then the door functions properly for another month or so.

There is a recall on the automatic sliding doors and it involves them not latching.

Could be a bad ground in bulb socket-backfeeding searching for ground

My Hayes manual, which covers 1997-2001, says it's under the instrument cluster to the left of the steering column. Supposedly, it's visible from below after removing the beauty/sound shroud. On my 1999 I found it far and directly above the steering column. It's not at all visible, but I found it by sound and touch with the emergency flashers turned on. If your flasher is not working at all this approach won't help. (Mine had intermittent problems.) Feel for an elongated box shape a little over one inch square by about 2 inches long. (A long thin and limber arm works best. My right arm and wrist were bent like the left arm of a violin player.) The flasher unit is attached to a metal bracket with a spring clip. I was able to slip the flasher unit off the metal bracket by sliding it toward the rear of the vehicle. The wires were long enough to let the unit dangle down to where it was visible and accessible. I used a screwdriver to release the plastic catch and the flasher easily came free from its connector.

Replacing the unit was a hassle, too. Auto-zone did not carry it. A local parts store at first sold me an incorrect unit, and the one they did have that matched the connectors did not have a housing to match original equipment, so there's no way to re-clip the unit to its original location. For the present, it's just hanging loose. It works, but there's nothing to amplify the sound, so the clicks are very quiet.

In order to change the brake light, check your manual for directions. You will need to remove the cover and replace the burnt out bulb.

There are 3 cooling fan relays located in the fuse box just above the battery, in the engine compartment. (passenger side, near the front of the car) You will have to take the fuse box cover off. The other side of the cover lists all relays. I think the radiator cooling fan motors are switched in series or in parallel depending on how much airflow is needed - hence the 3 relays.
