i mounted my antenna in the center of the front windsheld in the flat spot by the air intake, run the cord through the firewall (make sure to go through the rubber grommet, its a pain, but if not it will eventualy cut through the antenna) after that figure out were you are going to mount the receiver and take off the center part of the dash, you will have plenty of room to feed the wire through

Is it continual, or intermittant? Mine does that only when it's damp - check your wiring to be sure it's all covered & contained as it should be.

If you are saying that you have reason to believe that the battery is charged, yet the starter won't crank the engine, it could be: starter, Neutral/park lockout switch, Bad electrical connection or Keyswitch.

Chances are your car is not charging properly. Be sure that the red CHARGE light comes on when you turn on ignition, but goes off once car starts. These cars have a very complex engine computer that requires almost a full 12 volts to run correctly. Unless your car has the Bose option, the factory radio should not draw enough power to affect the engine if the battery had enough power to start the car period.

A good test that the car is charging at all is to shut off all accessories but leave engine running while you CAREFULLY disconnect your negative battery cable. Its best to wear eye protection just in case, because there will be some spark. If the engine stops right away, the car is not charging enough, or not at all and you more than likely need an alternator.

Car radio electrical circuits are as veried as the radios themselves. Certainly they have a lot of commonality, but each is unique. For a given unit, the manufacturer holds the circuit diagram. Other than that, about the only thing you could get your paws on would be a block diagram showing the general functional areas of the radio. If the question is pointed at the wiring diagram for the radio harness, that information is available from the car folks. Wire color and arranement differ from one unit to the next. A shop specializing in auto sound systems may be able to help.

AM Waves diffract more than FM waves.

Not unless you hard-wire them together. Just driving by an FM transmitter,

no matter how close, won't hurt the radio.

I'm not sure of the song, but it sounds like you are referring to dubstep. Dubstep is a style/genre of music usually with electronic noises and vocals that have been tampered with.
