He was a pioneering influence in the BBC and helped to lay the foundation for the work we are continuing to do to make sure our staff and our programmes are truly representative of our nation's diverse population.

We remember with gratitude and pride his launching of London Sounds Eastern on BBC Radio London, and his generosity in mentoring and training people from ethnic minority backgrounds for the BBC.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee radio sounds like it has static in it when motor is running but fine when motor is not running what could cause this?

If this is a whine that changes pitch with the rpm's of the motor, it is normally causee by your ignition system. If it's an aftermarket system that you put in the best way to cure it is to re-run either your rca's or your power wire so they are on separate sides of te vehicle. The whine is caused by interferance from the power wire affecting the signals on the rca's. If rewiring isn't an optoin or it isn't an aftermarket system, you can go to any stereo shop and they will sell you a filter that will solve this. Hope this helps.

How do you get radio code for 95 Honda accord?

The code came with the car when it was new on a plastic card slightly smaller than a credit card. It is a 5 digit code. Look around for the card or see if it is written down somewhere in the owner's manual. If not, then the only way to get the code is to remove the radio and copy down the radio serial #. Take this number to your local Honda dealer and they will be able to provide the code. Before removing the radio call the selling dealer who sold the car new, as they may have the code stored in their computer system. Some dealers do this just in case you loose the code card. In addition you may be able to use a dental mirror to see the serial # without actually removing the radio. Sorry, I wish there was another way, but there isn't.
