What is the legal power limit that ham radio operators must follow?
There are three classifications (Technician, General, and Extra) of ham radio operators. Depending upon the band or frequency they are operating on and license class, some bands only allow 25 to 100 watts of power. The maximum power that a ham can operate with is 1500 watts. This is controlled by the FCC. The FCC website has all the information about which bands and licenses are necessary.
On Last FM what are neighbors?
A "neighbour" is someone who's musical tastes are believed to be similar to yours, in that you have similar most played artists or tracks.
So Im geussing you cut the stock wiring harness off, that makes things a little more complicated. This is what you need to do, its actually pretty simple. Get a voltage meter is number one. The three main wires youll need to find are the constant, accessorie, and ground. Make sure all of the wires are not exposed to each other or you could start blowing fuses or worse. Next, test each wire until you find one that reads 12 volts when your vehicle is off or on, this connects to the yellow wire on your harness. Then find the accessorie which would read 12 volts ONLY when your car is turned to the "on" position. Then, if I were you, I would make a ground just to be safe. After that's done, locate your speaker wires. Get a size D battery, 2 pieces of wire 16 awg preferably, and electricians tape. Strip each end of wire, put one side on the negative and the other on the positive and label the wires + and - so you know. You have just made what we call a "speaker popper" which tests the polarity of a speaker. Then tape the battery up. Now gently tap the ends of the speaker wires for each set of speakers. It will make a popping noise. Go through each set of speaker wire and look at the speaker and make sure the speaker cone moves out not in. Just note whats negative and whats positive and your good to go. Sounds complicated, but just take your time.

Where can you find a free wiring diagram for a 1992 Toyota Paseo radio?
At the library. If your local library does not have the manuals describing the Paseo on their shelf, tell the librarian what you need. They should be able to locate the library closest to you that has what you are looking for. I use the manuals at my library quite often for work I need done on my 1992 Paseo. The manuals provide expanded views of the parts, schematics of the electrical systems, and many very concise procedures for repairs. They include what you have to remove to get to the parts needing repair and if there is something counter-intuitive that you need to look out for. I was able to make my aging starter (234,000 miles) run again by simply replacing the brushes because the library manuals explained that the brushes in the 92 Paseo starter were designed to be replaced. I will often take a look at the manual before I take my Paseo to the mechanic so I have at least a rough idea what he is going to be doing and how long it should take (yes, the free library manuals often include diagnostic help). One thing though about library auto repair manuals--they will NEVER let you take them home, so take plenty of change with you to feed to the copier.
Right now (September of 2012), there are 90 different FM radio stations all licensed
to broadcast on 92.9 in different parts of the country.
If you don't give us the call letters of the station you're listening to, or at least
the city you're in when you listen to it, there's no way to know which one of
those 90 stations it is. And they all have different phone numbers.
How do you use radio onomatopoeia?
Spoken Morse Code - 'da' representing .(dot) 'dit' representing -(dash)
Electromagnetic interference.
Remember that light is electromagnetic radiation. Radio waves are nothing more than a different "color" of light (albeit a color which is invisible to our human eyes).
There is a Technical Service Bulletin out on this. Do a Google search to find the details. It is a loose grounding strip in the pillar by the rear window on the drivers side. Dealer can resolve.
What is the difference between audio and radio?
Practical Differences
Style & Structure
There are numerous stylistic and structural differences between broadcast and print journalism. As it is beyond the scope of this paper to discuss them all, I will refer to just three: editorial influence, structure, and pace.
Print journalism edits more than broadcast. Newspapers edit for clarity, fairness, and accuracy (Colgan, 2004). They also edit to ensure individual house style. In broadcast journalism however, exactly what you write is often exactly what airs, with little or no editing. The extensive editing process in print journalism allows more time for eloquence and prose. Conversely, the relative lack of editing in broadcast journalism warrants short, sharp, succinct language of a more conversational tone (Higgins, 2004).
Broadcast and print journalism also differ in structure. Print news stories use an inverted pyramid structure with the most important items (the facts of the story) reported in the first paragraph. Remaining facts are then presented in descending order of importance. Broadcast news stories on the other hand are broader (no pun intended). Important facts are still reported in the first paragraph, but broadcast news stories end decisively and do not trail off as do print news stories (Higgins, 2004).
Lastly, broadcast and print news stories differ in length and pace. The average radio news story is just 30 seconds long. The average television news story is one minute and 30 seconds long. Read at a pace of 180 words per minute these lengths equate to 90 and 270 words respectively for radio and television news stories. The average print new piece can vary greatly in length, but has been described as "12 snappy pars" (Ricketson, 2004). Ultimately, the newspaper journalist has little control over the pace at which the story is read; it is the reader who dictates the pace.
Is the radio fuse is in the fuse box?
the answer to this question is an obvious yes
------------------------
Answers to questions like this are not always obvious. I am not a mechanic, but I am sure there is a fuse in the fuse box that protects the wiring to the radio. But there may also be an inline fuse anywhere from there to where the wire enters the radio. A fuse of this sort would very often, if it exists, be found quite close to the radio or associated equipment (if any exists). I would proceed by removing the radio to see if there is an inline fuse behind it.
If everything is factory, a detailed vehicle wiring diagram will show whether a fuse was part of the original assembly. But this wiring diagram can be rather complicated to understand even to experienced electricians. == Sparkfighter
I have a 2005 but the solution will probably work for 2006. Try it and see. Go to Settings menu and turn off display completely. Return to Settings menu and turn display back on. This has always cleared my screen when it "freezes."

How is it possible that you hear radio broadcasts with no radio?
any time objects resonate with a radio signal's frequency you have the makings of a crude radio. If those objects react in a way that allow the changes of the radio signal to make noise, you'll hear the audio. This happens when pipes, tape measures, air ducts, electrical and phone wires, are near the same length as a broadcast radio wave. The changes in the radio signal, or modulation, can get passed into other objects through corrosion between pipes, phone wiring, light fixtures and blubs, rain gutters and roofs, exhaust pipes and water heaters, furniture and floors, and so on. Generally, it only happens within a mile or so of a high power AM tower.

Why would a kia sportage be stuck in park and the radio not work?
if it is an automatic ,the trip release is stuck on the shifter handle, there is an emergency manual release trip to get it out of park.Read owners manual,it will tell you how to do it. As for the radio, could be a blown fuse to have to put in anti-theft security code. But park problem will have nothing to do with radio.By the way radio"s in the new vehicles will shut off if you attempt to take it out of dash in an improper way triggering the anti-theft .
Ow to take out a car radio on a 1994 Ford Aspire?
ther should be four (4) small holes in the front of the radio. You can use small nails by pushing them into the holes. Once you have all four in you gently pry the nails to each side of the radio. this releases the clips holding the radio in. Once they are released you just pull the adio out It is easier with two people to complete this. have one on each side. Note: it does not take alot of sideways pressure to relaease the clips
Radio waves are electromagnetic waves. The radio waves have the longest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. A radio wave has a much longer wavelength than does visible light. We use radio waves extensively for communications.
How do you unlock a Volvo radio?
If the radio is showing "code", you should have a code with the paperwork for the car, if not, call a Volvo dealer and give them the vin number, they can look it up and you just enter it using the preset radio buttons. This has to be done any time you disconnect the battery for extended amount of time or remove radio. When I called the dealer to get my code, I had to fax a copy of the registration and my ID to prove I owned the car and it wasn't stolen. Just a heads up.
