Where can you find the fusebox diagram for a 1989 Chrysler lebaron?

The 1990 Lebaron built in 1989(door sticker) had the relay chart on the back side of the small removable cover under the steering wheel area. The chart for the black relays is probably on the back of the lower dash panel which you remove. The relays under the engine connected to various switches are referred to in the Haynes manual and are best identified by the color of the wires going to the switches. Granny Mary

How do you remove the dashboard from a S10 blazer?

I assume you mean just the dash panel. If it is an older one (80's fo example) you have several small torc bit screws to pull. The dash should pull out from there. If you are going further you have to pull all the covers on the heater controls and the glove box. Some on them have hex head screws on them. Once you have the complete face off there are several hex head bolts under the dash, not real easy to get to. You have to disconnect the vents at this point. If you have never done this I wouldn't recommend you do this without help. Some of the wires you have to reach are a tight squeeze. I restore show cars. Good Luck

How do you turn off Renault clio 182 sport head light washers only mine are leaking?

I'm having the same problem; before I fixed it I was refilling the full 5 litre tank every other day! Having seen a lot of Clio 182's it seems to be a common problem after they reach about 3 years old, there are two semi-solutions...

The first isn't perfect...I cut the tubes leading to the headlight washers and inserted a screw into the part leading from the washer bottle (the screw allows a build up of pressure to slowly leak through the thread so it doesn't overload any pumps), then put them through the plastic alongside the washer bottle itself (so they stick up). I only did this last week, they still try and pump and water still exits the tube but at nowhere near the rate it used to, and they don't leak!

Eventually I will be fitting non-return valves to the tubes and reconnecting them; the idea being it will require pressure (rather than gravity) to pump water to the headlight washers so they won't leak constantly.

The second is to simply time the washer stalk when you wash your windows; the headlight washers ONLY activate when your headlights are on and you hold the stalk in "squirt" mode for more than 1sec, so simply flicking the stalk for less than 1 sec prevents the washers from squirting...sometimes water doesn't squirt onto your windscreen for a while as the tubes empty, so quickly flicking 2-3 times usually gets your windows clean. I can email you a photo of the tubes if it helps? Andrew acsweeney1988@gmail.com

Why does a 1993 Accord flasher unit buzz?

Try replacing the part that's making the noise!

I replaced the flasher unit once with an inexpensive unit from the auto parts store and after 10 minutes, it started buzzing also. I then got an OEM unit online and after 10 minutes, it started buzzing and the turn signals stopped working. After sitting overnight, the turn signals work intermittently. I saw that Honda has a TSB out for this but cannot get a copy of the Technical Service Bulletin # 91008: Lighting - Buzzing During Turn Signal Lever Operation. If anyone has a copy, please send it to me or let me know what the fix is.

How do you reset the Renault clio engine warning light?

The engine management light is on for a reason. The car needs to have a diagnostics run on it and the fault corrected. Usually it will then reset itself and the fault will be recorded in the ECU memory. The codes can also be erased with the same diagnostics equipment but if the fault is not cured the light will come back on. Renault will usually put the car on there diagnostics for 1/2 on hours labour. You can then decide if you want them to repair it or find someone cheaper. Most local garages have diagnostics these days but not all can read the Renault codes.

Where under the bonnet do you change or refill oil?

When you lift the bonnet you will see the cylinder head cover, this is where the engine oil filler cap is located. To refill your engine oil unscrew this cap and pour in the required amount of oil. Make sure you pour it in a bit at a time and give it a minute or so for it to flow into the sump before checking the oil level. It is oimportant not to overfill the engine with oil. When you change the oil, below I have written how to perform an oil change which should be done every 5000 miles or 6 months, whichever occurs first. The oil should be changed when the engine is warm. Park the vehicle on firm level ground, aplly the handbrake and open the bonnect and remove the engine oil filler cap from the cylinder head cover, and the oil level dipstick from its tube. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on axle stands, place a tray under the drain plug located on the sump to catch the oil and them using a spanner unscrew the oil drian plug. Allow some time for the old oil to drain. When the oil has completely drained wipe the drian plug and its treads in the sump and refit the plug tightening it to the torque setting in your manual. Place the drain pan under the oil filter (looks a bit like a small jam jar but metal)the using a strap wrench unscrew the oil filter from the oil pump. Withdraw the filter then using a clean rag wipe clean around the filter mounting and the fit a new oil filter. Apply a light coating of clean engine oil to the rubber selaing ring on the new filter, then screw the oil filter onto the oil pump, Once you have done this, you will need to refill the engine with oil as described in the first part, pour in half the required amount of oil first, check under the car to make sure there are no leaks, then you need to add the other half slowly, a bit at a time. Slide the dipstick in and check the oil is between the max and min lines on the dipstick. Then you will need to run the engine and allow the oil to flow roudn the engine, the oil light stays on for a couple of minutes.

Do you need a new code for the immobilizer after changing the battries in the key fob of a Renault scenic?

No you will not as far as I know I did this with mine in September and have had no problems so far!

AnswerTelling you that weve all changed batteries and not had problems is ok but it doesnt really help you. Heres some resons for your problem. Sometimes the codes can be lost. Everytime you press the button on the key fob it revolves the code and this can sometimes become out of sync with the car. Re-coding can only be done at the dealer. Also, why did you change battery? Did the fob not work? If so the Renault key fobs were prone to the solder that connects the buttons cracking. You can get the key fob tested by any decent garage, also the RAC carries testers. Hope this helps

Clio airbag serv warning light?

Just bought a Renault Clio 1.2 Grande for my son, after 2 weeks the Airbag light and 'SERV' light stayed on, i sprayed all electrical connections with solvent electrical cleaner, wait for it to evaporate then spray WD40, also under the passenger seat is a connector make sure the wires are pushed together and do as above, hard to believe but it cured the problem

I have similar (recurring) problem with 2001 Expression - usually happens after the passenger seat has been pulled forward to let rear passengers in - I just wiggle the connector block under the seat (presumably a loose connection there) and it goes off.

Why does the service light and airbag light come on on my Renault clio?

This is a common fault with my clio, happens on mine regularly, if you don't think its anything serious, it is likely to be the wiring under the passengers seat coming loose. If my passenger seat is slid forwards/back too fast it can slightly tug the wiring, loosening it and putting the lights on.. annoying i know... just take a look and make sure all the wires are all the way in the sockets and the light should go off.
