Where to find seized car auctions?
There are a number of auction houses that have contracts to auction off seized vehicles.
Cars are seized for a number of reasons. They could have been a problem vehicle on public roads for instance the driver wasn't insured. You'd be surprised at some of the cars to be found at police seized car auctions.
Other vehicles that come up for auction are seized under the proceeds of crime act and yet others are sold through bankruptcy and liquidation auctions.
The issue is that very few of these sales are advertised so you will need to find a quality, legitimate auction directory that regularly updates their listings.

What is your obligation if you take the car back to the bank before they come to get it?
When the car gets back to the bank, its sold and the debtor owes the difference between what it sold for and the outstanding balance on the loan. IF it sells for more than is owed, debtor has to pick up the check for the surplus.
There are no differences between a voluntary repossession/relinquishment of vehicle by the borrower and the forced repossession/recovery by the lender, except for some of the repossession costs such as towing.
FYI, a bank will not allow you to return the vehicle in the sense that you can "drop it off" somewhere.

How do you return a financed car?
I assume by "financed" you are NOT referring to a leased vehicle but one purchased with a new-car loan. I also assume the vehicle is still pretty new and has very low miles, which is why you mentioned "returning" it. Basically, you cannot return a vehicle. It's not like buying and returning merchandise from Wal-Mart. You must sell the vehicle. The dealer from whom you purchased it might be willing to buy it back, if it's like new, or perhaps you could trade it in for a different model.
Yes, make sure there is nothing wrong with your car. Also get a letter of apology, just in case it shows up on your credit report later.
What are some of the laws associated with Buddhism?
Guatama Buddha told his followers to not just do whatever he told them to, but to listen to his teachings and then meditate on them, and come to the truth about the best way to act themselves. So there aren't really Buddhist "laws", although many cultures which are predominantly Buddhist have laws based on Buddhist concepts. The Buddha did offer some precepts that guide how we should behave in order to more skillfully find our way to enlightenment. The most basic of these are: Don't kill. Don't steal. Don't engage in illicit sex. Don't speak divisively. Don't speak abusively. Don't engage in idle chatter. Don't tell lies. Abandon greed. Abandon ill will. Cultivate right views. ----------------------- Everything above sounds good – it’s more complicated when you become a parent though. “Make it beautiful or make it worse,” – Master Qing Hai (just this past Sunday). When I was a kid, I thought I would be untouchable as a Buddhist – there was no bad side; wrong! – sometimes people can be awake but still sleeping – Understand that Buddhism battles darkness and evil, but sometimes people become “fallen”. Think about it – there are STD’s, computer viruses, cancers – that’s pure evil… Oh, and I already listened to the Grateful Dead, so… this is a 29 year-old caucasian American, saying… there you go!...
Ref: Website of Hershey Energy Systems Triplen Harmonics - The triplen harmonics, in alternating current power systems, are defined as the odd multiples of the 3rd harmonic (ex. 3rd, 9th, 15th, 21st etc.). Triplen harmonics are of particular concern because they are zero sequence harmonics, unlike the fundamental, which is positive sequence. The consequence of this fact is that the magnitude of these currents on the 3 phases are additive in the neutral. Edited the original to add: ", in alternating current power systems, "

When you lose the bill of sale the first step would be trying to locate the owner. If the owner can not be located, the following step would be to file for abandoned title.
Advertise the car "As Is". Tell the buyer he is buying as is. When you sell the vehicle have the buyer sign a form you have typed up stating the car is being sold "As Is" with no warranty whatsoever, either verbal, written, or implied. Keep that piece of paper for 7 years.
Can you register a car by mail?
You have several issues here. If you plan to drive the car in California it must be registered there, but your Military stautus exempts you from certain fees. If you plan to drive the car straight to Florida you may obtain a "One way Trip" permit from the DMV. On arrival in Florida you must register the vehicle there. DMV forms may be downloaded off the DMV website. You may be required to also submit copies of "Proof of Insurance" and Current Smog Certificates,Some States require a Weight Certificate (except Deisel motors) If you bought the car from a Dealer they can handle all these requirements. If you bought from a private Party you may be required to go to the DMV to obtain and pay for the oneway trip permit ($15). Another avenue is CSAA as they offer their Members DMV Registation services, but you may be required to go to there inpection station. Good luck
They can "suggest" anything they think you will go for. It doesn't sound like a very smart deal to me. But it will be YOUR credit that gets messed up for a few years.
Legal or not, it's a shady statement. Which tells me it's a shady dealer. Instead of buying a car from them, call your state BBB (Better Business Bureau)and report this, that way if they have already been reported in the past, it can be dealt with accordingly. As last person that answer stated, it's your credit on the line. Do NOT leave it in the hands of the greedy...

Yes, if the lender approves of the transfer of the loan.
How do you obtain a new title for a motorcycle which was abandoned by the lien holder?
Most states have a "quick title" or otherwise known as abandoned vehicle title service through the vehicle registration department in your state. They should be able to advise you. Another way to find out is to call a salvage yard and see hoe they title abandoned vehicles. You can use a lean-sale company to initiate a lean on the bike in lieu of theoretical storage fees. When the bike defaults the lean it is issued a new title in the lien holder's name (you.) For expensive bikes it takes about 3 months. For less expensive bikes it takes about a month. The lien sale company charges about $75-$100. You can also initiate the lien yourself but the process is a little more difficult. The waiting period is to see if the actual owner of the property steps up and claims the bike, or contests the lien. They send notification to the address on the last title holder. If the bike has been out of the system for more than 5 years (California), registration information is dumped,k but they should still have the title holder on record. You still have to go through the lien sale process even if the bike is not registered with the state.
How would you find out the name of a car owner in the UK from only the make and registration?
Generally you can't. Normally only the police can have this information. There has been a big fuss recently as the DVLA has been selling the names and addresses on its database.
Can you unilaterally sell a car if it is titled as joint owners?
That would depend upon state laws and how the car is titled. Generally if a vehicle is titled "John Smith and whomever" then the vehicle can only be sold if both agree or by order of the court. If the title reads "John Smith or whomever" the car can be sold by either person. This would not apply in some instances, some examples...pending divorce proceedings, legal action by creditors, or probate procedures, etc.

How do you get an abandoned car?
Do you mean how do you buy an abandoned car or how do you find an abandoned car?? You can buy an abandoned car thru a car auction...find the nearest place by googleing for a auction house nearest you or calling some used car lots if there is not a listing.
How do you find an abandoned car?? First call the police and file a report. They will give you the name of one or two (if not more) towing companies that picked up the cars and store them. You can call around, find the car and go redeem it. Good luck!
It depends on the door and the car. Some use specially designed shims, others slide and are adjusted by loosening the mounting bolts while others still are carefully "bent" as needed to adjust the door.
