Doubtful. Ask the seller if you can back out. He may agree, but if he doesn't you more than likely own this car. Call your state Atty. General to see if your state has a cooling off period for cars, which I doubt.
How do you write a letter asking if a car dealership has a hardship program?
The letter that is written to a car dealership asking if they have a hardship program should ask whether or not they have a 'Buy Here, Pay Here' policy. Purchasers of cars that are bought under this agreement rarely need a credit check. A person only needs a steady job and a steady place of residence. They will pay a higher price in the long run for a vehicle, though.

Is it possible to back out of a new car purchases if I signed the papers but never took possession?
I signed a credit agreement and contract with a dealership however changed my mind the following day as another dealer who I had also visited contacted me with a better offer. At first the delaership refused to give me any money back (I had left a 200 deposit) however I kept on at them on the phone and I wrote to the general manager of the dealership who in the end agreed to give me my money back. So I would say legally they musnt be able to keep your money or I am sure the dealer would have done so in my case.

Are/were you listed on the TITLE as leinholder? Do you have a written contract listing the vehicle as collateral? If no to these two uestions, you should call a local attorney NOW.
Can you repo a car if the title is in the buyer's name already and they default on the payments?
IF they are in DEFAULT of a contract, you can repo the collateral for that contract,IF the contract specifies repossession as a penalty for DEFAULT. If the contract doesnt specify the penalties for default, then you should go to the replevin process. Consult a local attorney with your contract for state specific advice.
1st option??READ your contract. What does it say about repos? IF that doesnt make sense to you, contact a local attorney.
Can a repo man steal out off your car when he repo your car?
== == ANSWER. If your car is being repossessed all things inside the car go with the car. You can reclaim those things through your finance company. If anything is missing when you reclaim them your at a loss since you can't prove it was there. Also if it is connected to the car like rims, stereos, subwoofers, those will stay with the car and you won't be able to reclaim them. So if your behind on your car payments don't leave any valuables in your car, and take your stereo equipment and rims with you.
What do you do with a vehicle if the dealer refuses to repossess it?
Dont understand what you mean by dealer wont repossess it. Usually when you default they want to come and get it so they can recoup monies lost due to non payment and continue to go after you for the unpaid balance. Now if you are trying to return it to the dealer , they should take it back but you still owe some monies for the length of time you had it and again for defaulting on the deal. You should keep records and dates of when and how you tried to return it, you probably can use some legal advice because the longer you keep it and not pay the worse your credit is going to get. The credit agencies do not know that you are trying to return it, only that your not paying on it. Look in the local phone book and call some lawyers to see if they can answer a question for you. The secretaries usually can tell you what type of lawyer you need. Some give consultations for free or a seriously reduced rate. You can also call your county court house and ask to speak to the public defender and see if they can guide you. There is also 1800lawyersand that's a phone line that can help you. Just keep good records of your attempts so in the future youll know how much you are responsible for.
Clarification on some points:
(1) A lender has no legal obligation to recover any vehicle that may result in a loss, this also pertains to a voluntary repossession, the lender does not have to accept the vehicle.
(2) Many lenders will not recover the vehicle but will instead sue the borrower (co-borrower or co-signer) for the full amount owed and all applicable penalties and legal fees.
(3) Credit bureaus deal with creditors only, they do not accept information from the consumer with the exception of a 100 word dispute letter which is placed in the consumer's credit file.
(4) Public defenders are only available to persons who are charged under criminal statutes and qualify under the income guidelines of the state and all public defenders are appointed by the presiding judge, they are not chosen by the person who has been charged. That being the case, the clerk of the court cannot assist in finding an attorney for an individual but in some cases will refer the person to the local legal aid society or other non profit legal organization.

I had the exact thing happen to me with a KIA dealership here in FL. I'm still not convinced that it's legal but they lost in the deal. I had a new van to use for 2 weeks (which I ran to Georgia twice)and than when they got it back we had the hail storm. I like to think they got theirs.
The turbo kit for the 93-97 altima is for the KA24DE engine type. The 91-98 240sx and 98-01 altima also have this engine. Most of the parts in the kits are similar, but do vary on length and location (exhaust manifold, intercooler pipe length, etc.). The kit for the 93-97 altima will work on your car, but with some modifications. Plus your gonna need to invest in fuel enrichment parts, reprogramed ECU, high-flow exhaust system and alot of time and money. Plus make sure you get a ball-bearing turbo and not a sleeve turbo. You can take parts from a 240sx, but remember, most of the parts will not be direct bolt-ons and you will have to modify them. On E-bay there is a KA24DE DVD turbo guide to make it a KA24DET, and instructions for other enhancements. Good Luck!!!
