What kind of gas mileage does a 2002 Saturn SL1 get?

Where are the horn fuses on a 2001 Saturn L200?
The fuse panel with the horn fuse and relay should be adjacent to the battery.
Not really an answer, but another question... did you bleed the brakes after you changed them? I remember that is a critical step, NOT to be missed when working on the brakes. Hope this helps.
The L300 uses the V6 engine. The engine is efficient and reliable IF the timing belt is replaced according to the manufacturers recommendations AND the fluids are properly maintained.
The L-series is well designed and other than a little road noise, it's reasonably comfortable.
Reset service light out on 2000 Saturn L200?
Most OBD2 code scanners give you the option of clearing the code and resetting the MIL.
However, if the problem still exists the light will come back on.
Repair the problem and the computer should reset the light.
What weight oil do you use in 2000 Saturn LS?
The oil viscosity that should be used is dependent on the condition of the engine.
If the engine has been properly maintained, the original manufacturer recommends SAE-5W15.
However, if the engine has experienced excessive wear such as might be caused by improper maintenance, or if the engine has a LOT of miles on it, you may be wise to use a higher viscosity, and that will depend on the condition of the bearings.
A simple way to determine what the engine should use:
If you change the oil and the oil pressure drops excessively when the engine is hot and at an idle, that's a hint to change to a higher viscosity. The oil pressure should not drop to less than half of what the gauge indicates when you're on the freeway. For example, If the gauge shows 60 PSI on the freeway, then the oil pressure shouldn't drop to less than 30 PSI at an idle, even when the engine is hot.
While some mechanics might tell you that you should replace the engine when the oil pressure drops to that point, I assure you, you can still get a lot more miles out of that vehicle once the bearings start to wear, just take care of it properly, and don't be too enamored by the manufacturers recommendations for oil viscosity, remember that those recommendations were made for a NEW engine, and your 2000 Saturn is 12 years old now.
Treat the vehicle with care and it should last a long time.
Just remember to change the timing belt (V6 engines only) every 100,000 miles, and change the oil on schedule, using a high quality oil (full synthetic if possible).
Which end of battery is positive terminal?
Typically the (+) is the Positive (Also cable end is red) and (-) is the negative (cable end is black) NOTE: Not all batteries are configured the same, when purchasing a battery for your car, there are look up books and or electronic terminals, (most of the Mart stores) make sure you look up your vehicle for the correct year and engine size. This is very important so that you get the correct battery for your vehicle. When in doubt ask one of the Employees.
How do you change a master cylinder in the clutch on a 93 Saturn LS?
you must replace the entire assembly, clutch master cylinder, hydralic line, and slave cylinder. the clutch system was designed to be replaced as a unit, they came from the factory pre-filled and pre-bleed . the unit can be replaced by first removing the retainer clip from the clutch pedal. use a small flat head screw drive to lift the retaining tab, and then slide the clip off. from under the hood... grab the clutch master cylinder and twist, the unit is held in by 2 tabs, so basically, twist and pull. there are 2 13mm nuts on the transmission at the slave cylinder, remove them. same action on the slave, twist and pull. the entire assembly should come out. its pretty easy accually, book time only calls for .5 hours to remove and replace. you can get a new assembly at the dealer, or a used assembly from a salvage yard

Diagram on how to replace motor mounts in a 93 Saturn?
On a 96 which possibly are the same for a single overhead cam engine? The hard one is the bottom front mount, take off passenger side tire. Be sure to support the car well as you can get injured because you will jack the engine up also. Behind the rotor take off all the plastic cowling and you will see the engine mount and the bolts that go into it. Jack up the motor via oil pan just enough to take the pressure off the engine mount, not to high as it will bind again. Use a 4x4 piece of a wood 2x4 between the jack and the oil pan, as to not damage the oil pan. Lossen the bolts and take them out. try to lift the engine another 3 inches. You my need to take the bolts on the upper engine mount loose as the mount might bind when trying to jack the engine. When its is rissen you can remove the mount.
Replace spark plug wire set 2000 Saturn SL1?
The Saturn SL, SL1 and SL2 all have spark plug wires. The current advice I have is to replace them one at a time, so that the timing of the engine is not changed. Changing the timing can ruin the engine. But... The wires go through two wiring holding brackets. And that back bracket is hard to get to. The following video gives some good ideas, and some good cautions, and completely fails to tell anyone how to remove those wires. http://www.youtube.com/watch?vGq5hRTjll3E This is also useful, but again, does not completely solve the problem: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t136307 I want advice on how to get to that last pair of wires. There is a big plastic piece near the radiator.
It is held on by its shape and a small plastic thumbtack shaped 'pin'.
Remove pin with flat bladed screwdriver, remove plastic, and the spark plug wire harness is easy to get to. I am using a 7mm socket.

it sounds like the crank sensor is going bad try replacing it they are $16 at any part store
What causes antifreeze to leak onto front passenger floor of a 2001 Saturn L series car?
Typically that leak is caused by a leak in the heating system. The heater core is under the dashboard, just above the passenger side.
How much to tune up a 4 cylinder saturn sl1 vehicle?
That depends on who does it and what kind of parts they use.
It also depends on the kind of tune-up. If it's just plugs and wires it will be a lot cheaper than a full tune-up with oxygen sensor and injectors.
Plugs and wires with a compression test shouldn't be much more than about $50, but some mechanics will try to charge more.
Plugs, wires, injectors and oxygen sensors will be considerably more; over $200 and probably closer to $300.
