The BCM in an L series car is in the glove box You have to remove the storage piece and the the door of the glove box off it is mounte on top of the storage bin .

it is located on the passenger side just behind the front fascia. You have to jack the car up to get to it.

2002 L-series used a belt.

I would start with the symtoms, Is it not funtioning or is it not functioning well. For example is it blowing any air through thew ducts? Or is it just blowing cold air through the ducts? If it is just blowing cold air through the ducts it could be a number of things, from a faulty thermostat, to low coolant, to water pump failure, to a clogged heater core. I would check levels first and then possibly the thermostat. A thermostat is an easy thing to change for a novice mechanic, 2 bolts (10mm) and it comes apart. Fairlym easy to get to, it is located on the drivers side, (just follow the radiator hose to where it ends on the block. No special sealant is necessary since the thermostat has the seal built in. Another tip-off that the thermostat is failed it it will no pass emmisions inspection since the engine doesn't heat up to the proper normal operating temperature. If the blower isn't working then I would check all the fuses, it is also possible the fan is inoperative.

The clutch pedal cannot be adjusted

tire chains go on the drive wheels but it is best to chain all 4 tires if in extreme weather be sure to check with local authorities about chain regulations not all places allow tire chains by the way i drive for a living in British Columbia Canada and we chain all winter here

Saturn does not recommend snow chains for any of there vehicles. I currently have 2 95 wagons and an 04 VUE My kids drive the wagons and I put 4 deep lug snow tires on them when they are at college in upstate New York. They have yet to get stuck. Hope this answers your question.

align the timing marks as the cams are being installed. DON'T FOOL WITH IT...... IF YOU HAVE A 2001 L SERIES, THE REPLACEMENT OF THE TIMING CHAIN IS COVERED BY A RECALL ISSUED IN JANUARY 2008. IF YOU ALREADY HAD THE REPAIR DONE, THEY WILL REIMBURSE YOU.

Easy! Just goto the 3rd brake light and carefully pull off the cover... CAREFULL not to brake the snaps... before hand though, you have to go to the dealer to get the LED's, see how many you will need.

Yes, radiators can leak. The newer style radiators do not leak as often as the solid brass radiators, but they still can occasionally leak.

A qualified radiator shop can often repair a radiator, but you'll probably have better service from a new one.

If you're seeing foam in the coolant and it's being pushed out of the coolant system, you PROBABLY have a blown head gasket or cracked head.

If the engine has overheated even once recently, the head probably warped causing the gasket to blow, or the head could have cracked.

Either way, it's fairly serious and should be addressed promptly.

If it sticks OPEN, the engine will never warm up properly, you'll get poor economy and the heater will never warm the vehicle.

If it sticks CLOSED the engine will overheat, possibly causing damage. If the engine gets hot enough the head will warp and you'll need to have the engine disassembled, the head will need to be resurfaced and you'll need to reassemble the engine using a new head gasket.

Saturn ignition switches will not turn on after a failed attempt. The passive security device really has nothing to do with it. Pull the key out and wait for the beep. then reinsert and try it again

Some times my car does the same. If the wheel locks up, all you need to do is shake the wheel and the key will turn.

if you lost the remote unlock car put key in ingition and try to start. it wont start. wait 15 minutes then try again it will start.

First you have to slide off the computer looking thing in front of the battery, you should then see the metal plate it was attached to - which is also holding down the battery... simply remove it with a wrench and disconect the battery cables (black first) and the battery should slide right out.

If the sensor is functioning properly, when you add the washer fluid the light should turn off automatically; no additional action required.

It's the same for all internal combustion engines.

When gasoline burns inside the combustion chamber, it produces carbon dioxide and water vapor. The water vapor is usually hot enough that you don't see it, but when the weather is cold, and while the exhaust is still cold, some of the water vapor will condense together with other water vapor molecules, producing a visible mist that looks like white smoke out the tailpipe.

It's normal.

On the other hand, once the engine is warmed up, if the white smoke continues and if you notice that the engine is using a lot of oil, it may be that the rings and/or valve stem seals are leaking, allowing oil to enter the combustion chamber. When that happens you'll get some oil burning, which may look whitish-blue.

The bottom pan capacity is 6.5 quarts.

The complete overhaul capacity is 9.5 quarts.

The dry capacity is 12.9 quarts.

The starter on a 2000 Saturn SL is located on the bottom, left side of the engine. It is powered directly by the vehicle's battery.

I assume you has an s series Saturn If so you are in luck because that code is caused by the coolant sensor cracking 90% of the time Replace the sensor and the harness (if corroded) and you'll be good to go

There are bolts that hold down the seat rails. The bolts go through the floor, and if you remove them, the seats lift right out. Move the seats back to loosen the front bolts, then move the seats forward to remove the back bolts.

Don't forget to disconnect the electrical plugs since you don't want to destroy the sensors and seat controls.

it costs about 400 dollars if you have the right car and they can install it no problems.

There is a diagram printed on the underside of the fuse box top.

First have a vacuum pump handy place a tight fitting hose on the bleed valve,start at the farthest point from brake reservior.(right rear). open the bleed valve pump till you get a good flow with no air bubles(keep along enough hose in the canester so you will see air bubles.) and you must keep the fluid leval up in the reservior. If you have drum brakes on the rear this is the way you do it,then go to the other side and repete. The front will most likely be disk they are gravety bled. put your hose on it and let it drip into the canester. good luck.
