How do you remove and replace front wheel bearings on a 1996 Chevy Blazer 4x4?
you cannot replace the wheel bearings by themselves in a 4x4. they designed the hubs to have wheel bearings inside them. you must replace the whole hub assembly to get new wheel bearings. should run from 50-100 dollars a piece from a parts store, and about twice that at a dealer.
You need a 36mm socket and a breaker bar . Take the spline nut off the end of the cv shaft. I suggest doing this with the wheel still on the ground. Then jack the truck up. Remove the caliper and rotor, take out the three bolts holding in the hub. Be careful around the abs sensor. They are expensive. Installation is the reverse of removal. Torqe the spline nut to approx 180 ft.lbs.

Why does the oil turn black after a week?
How many miles are on your engine?
Do you know how often the oil has been changed in the past?
you need to replace the oil filter, without it, it is unable to extract carbon, acid and moisture from the oil which turns it black
If your car burns oil, more carbon is created because oil is designed not to burn so when it does it makes soot. The oil dilutes faster
oil turning black is normal. all engines produce some blow-by around the rings, and these spent gases contain carbon, a by-product of combustion. the carbon is dissolved into the oil where it can be removed from the engine during oil changes.
I've seen this lots. On new vehicles like 2005's... no, the oil will still look brownish. On older vehicles, it comes out black, you change it, you start it, you check it... black. There is still a bit of oil left after an oil change and it will get darker and darker. If your vehicle is new... get her checked out.

Where is the water pump on a 4 cylinder 2002 l series Saturn?
Inset into the engine block. Examine the routing of the serpentine belt and you'll see one of the pulleys that seem to drive off the BACK side of the belt. Look closely and you'll see that it's the water pump.
What does error code P0303 mean?
It means that there is a misfire on cylinder number three. The cause could be in the ignition system (coil, plugs, plug wires), or high and low fuel pressure.

What fuse do you need to change a ciggerate lighter in a Saturn sl1 1994?
the fuse you need to change is located in the fuse panel on the passenger side of the front console inside the cabin. It pulls off and the fuse you need to change is named "locks" down near the bottom right of the panel.
Sounds to me like you have a broken spring in the valve body You need to have a line pressure test to be sure but that is a common problem in the older cars

Quoth http://www.aa1car.com/trouble-codes/page3.htm :
"THROTTLE POSITION TROUBLE SENSOR (TPS) CODES
These include P0120, P01210, P0122, P0123, P0124 P0222, P0223, P0224, P0225, P0226, P0227, P0228 & P0229, and can be set if the TPS sensor readings are too high or too low (out of range), if the signal is lost, or if the signal does not correspond to the MAP sensor's readings. The TPS sensor monitors the position of the throttle so the computer can add more fuel when the engine is accelerating or under load. The computer may also need to know when the throttle is at idle or wide open to control other functions. A bad TPS can cause driveability problems such as hesitation. The sensor's resistance changes as the throttle moves, causing the return voltage signal to vary. Look for a change in the voltage output as the throttle opens and closes. No change or skips in the output would indicate a faulty TPS sensor. Also note: the idle voltage is adjustable on some TPS sensors and must be set within specifications for accurate operation. If the voltage adjustment is not within specifications, it can adversely affect performance and throttle response."
Saturn vue 03 cooling fan consistantly running?
The on-board computer senses a problem with the engine. A general fault condition is registered which keeps the cooling fan running regardless of temperature until the code can be cleared from the computer.
The general fault code means the problem is not deterministic. It happened on my 03 Vue after a slight hesitation under moderate load (going uphill with the A/C on). My mechanic replaced both fuel pumps (not cheap), and the problem was reduced but not eliminated completely.
To keep the problem from occurring too frequently:
(1) Do not buy cheap gas, (use Chevron, Shell, Mobil, 76, etc.)
(2) Do not run your tank empty
(3) Add a few gallons of 89 octane to every fill up
Mechanics charge a fee to hook up a computer and clear the code. You can do this yourself and save a few bucks by disconnecting the battery cable for a few minutes. Sometimes I need to pull the fuse (relay?) in the fuse box marked "main cooling fan".
The persistent cooling fan problem on my 03 Vue is quite intermittent - it happens to me only twice a year.
Use a Quality Filter WIX # 51348.
Also when changing the filter's make sure the old filter gasket comes off with the filter and is not stuck to the engine block.
