Low coolant cooling fans not working thermostat not opening radiator dirty or plugged water pump not working system "airbound" defective radiator cap hoses collapsing

laying on the ground, directly under the front bumper, you'll see a thick hose. This hose is clamped and connected by two 10mm screws. Unscrew and have a drain pan ready for draining coolant. Move hose out of the way and there's your thermostat. What kind of problems are you having?

The 2011 Subaru Legacy has a 9 ft. 0.3 in. (108.3 in.) wheel base.

You will, not only have to replace the transmission as well as the center console inside the car, but also the rear gear box (differential) because the automatic and manual have different gear ratios. You will also need to replace the ecu.

yes it could be faulty without leaking , the impellor on the back could of come away and not be pumping water around the engine , to check this take the radiator cap off and have a look if the water goes up and down when you excellorate the engine , if it does the must be a nother problem

It is located on the passenger side fuel rail closest to the firewall.

its a transistor located behind the cluster panel.usually cost 45 dollars from nissan......symptons are usually empty fuel reading and temp reading are nil.

If fuel gauge goes from empty to full can be ground wire problems.

Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fixture

Actually, there is a small error in this answer above. I just replaced a bulb. You do not twist the socket a quarter of a turn on my 05 Outback Sedan. First, you twist the large plastic cover over the socket a quarter of a turn and remove it to get to the socket. Then, the socket has a funny looking clamp that goes around that back that has to be unclipped and swung out of the way, then the socket pulls straight out giving access to the bulb. I have a Subaru Legacy GX 1996 and the procedure is slightly different. Open the hood and go to the back of the unit. Don't twist the rubber socket, just pull it straight off. A large rubber seal will then fall off leaving the back of the bulb exposed. Its fixed in place with a wire that can be unhooked (don't unscrew the screw that holds the wire in place) and the bulb slips out. Replace bulb and put back together.

The 1995-1996 Subaru Legacy takes 21" driver side, 19" passenger side and 14" rear replacement wiper blades. Note however, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store.

The 2009 Subaru Legacy has single overhead cam (SOHC).

Both o2 sensors are located on catalytic converter. Sensor closest to front of car is upstream sensor. Sensor closest to rr of car is downstream sensor.

Lift straight up while pulling on the door open handle. Once it click, pull towards you "feeding" the door handle out of its socket.

The starter is interchangable between all 1990-1994 Legacies and maybe even up to 1999.

By "Head Unit" I assume you are referring to the cylinder head. I am currently trying to remove mine due to a burnt exhaust valve, which I will have ground and surfaced at a local machine shop. As this procedure is not something anyone with a life would try to describe by writing down in this format, I'd suggest you buy the appropriate manual for your make and model (Haynes is good) and go from there. Why are you removing the head? This is not a simple job, so the fact that you even asked the question implies that you don't really know what you are getting into. Good luck. there is no such thing as timing belt bearings......

are you posibly thinking of an idler pulley?

or cam bearings?

Driver side back by the firewall look down you will see a small dipstick put a funnel in where the dipstick is and pour slow adding only enough to make it full Do not put it in the passenger side where the transfer case is

In the fuel tank go through the trunk

this works on a legacy 1995 250T.

1)Open the drivers door.

2)insert and turn key to on position.

3)lift and hold drivers door handle for about 5 seconds. car will give a long beep.

4)make up a code ie. lift the handle and let it go for the number one. do it twice in succession for two etc. wait fot the beep at the end of each number.

5)input 4 numbers. car does not accept 1,1,1,1

6)the car will beep a few times.

7)repeat your code.

8)the car should now be programed. 9)take out key, close door and lock, give the code a go.

10)if you stuf up trying, just lift the handle a few times until the car does abit longer beep.
