OH YEAH!!!! i have a 1986 sammie blew up the 1.3 and bought a 1994 sidekick. Check out this swap!!!! we took the motor 5 speed tranny and transfer case from the 94 married a sammie t-case to it and put it in my sammie! it has so much power!!! you have to get the wiring harness out of the sidekick to run it and the fuel pump out of the gas tank to make it work. we made all new brackets and mounts. duel t-cases its bad ass!!! need to know more e-mail me at EightySixou812@yahoo.com. i recommend going to Fleebay and do this search

"Geo tracker service manuals" and get a real manual 93 . any from 92-93 factory service manual will be good for you. nothing better. the other Rag books are full of errors and mixed up years and parts. a travesty it can become following lies. and disinformation.

Check any automotive supply house (Pep Boys, Autozone, etc) and get a complete repair manual, like Chilton's. Best source might be obtaining the repair manual for the vehicle. Chilton's is one publisher, and there are others.

Replace the spark plugs and plug wires. Replace the distributor cap & rotor. Replace the air & fuel filter.

IAT's are located primarily connected through the air box, where you aor filter is, by the throttle body, by the intake manifold and is a 2 wire connector.

Symptoms of a faulty ignition coil are power to the coil checked with a multi-meter and no power out checked by pulling any of the spark plugs, placing it back int the spark plug cap, grounding out the end of the spark plug against metal while you have someone turn the motor over lack of spark would indicate no power from coil. You can also check the output side of the coil with a multimeter but note that your reading will jump instead of staying constant.

There is only 1 of 4 that you can get to without pulling the manifolds. Use a punch to knock one side into the block. Don't worry about bending it; that's what you want. Don't punch it too far it; you have an alloy block; not steel. The plug will turn sideway and you can pull it out with pliers. Cover the edge of the new one with RTV gasket maker and tap it in (flush with the block) with a socket the size of the inside of the plug.

I have a '98 Chevy Tracker ( same thing ). I went crazy trying to find info. Chilton's online was ok, but I had better success and got some good schematics, diagrams and info on alldata.com. get the CEL checked and fix the problem. Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes will reset the light on an OBD1 vehicle.

Maybe something with the safety switch on the clutch, or the wiring going to the starter. May be ignition switch also.

Locate the camshaft sensor in your car. Disconnect the electrical plug on the sensor. Remove the bolt that holds it in place. Twist the the sensor to remove it and place in the new one.

Suzuki Aerio's (yes I own a 2006 AWD sedan model Aerio) come in the SX model which is the mini station wagon/ hatchback, and seems to be the more popular Aerio on the road. (I see more of them than the sedans) There is also the 4 door sedan model, and both come in base and premium models. All 4 models were at one time or another available in All Wheel Drive, not the same as 4 wheel drive.

The all wheel drive system in the Suzuki Aerio is almost identical to the AWD in the Audi Quatro where the on board computer uses the anti-lock braking system to gauge wheel slip or differences in rotational speed to gradiently accommodate with up to 50% torque being diverted to the rear wheels to regain control/grip with the road.

HOWEVER... The Aerio only has 5 1/4" of ground clearance which tells you this is no off road vehicle. (The underside of my Aerio looks like a battle ground from the dirt road I live on.) The exhaust pipe, for some god forsaken reason, runs underneath the rear axle and is the lowest thing under the rear end. It gets plowed every time I bump the crown in the dirt road. I will be having the guys at the muffler shop replace a 12 inch section of squashed pipe the next time i get the chance.

BUT!!! The Aerio comes with a 2.3 litre power plant that delivers 155 HP, in a tiny little buggy that just seems all too eager to get speeding tickets!!! I got my first ticket only 3 months after buying my Aerio. It just loves to go fast. I've owned mine since it was new in July of 2006, and the only problem I've had is that the Lug studs are too soft, and they get damaged by the guys at the tire dealer from the impact wrenches. It's best to have them hand tightened.
