What size speakers go in a 1990 Toyota Celica?

If you have "system 10" in your car you will have 2 tweeters in the front and 2 in the back. Front dash speakers are 4 inch and door subwoofers are 8 inch with a maximum of 3 inch mounting depth. Rear speakers are your general 6.5. I'm unsure of the specifications for models without System 10. www.celicatech.com is a great resource regarding information on Toyota celicas.

Try to use Toyota speaker adapter plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess the electric system up. You can get them from Ebay or Amazon.

Manual for fusebox for 93 Celica GT?

Open and read your owner's manual I don't have one, pls post better answer. You said manual for fusebox. That is in your owners manual. You never said you didn't have one. You need an owners manual for more than just finding the fuse box display. You need it to know when to do scheduled maintenance on certain items. Sources are Dealer, Salvage Yard, and many on-line sources. Type "automobile owners manual" into a search engine. You will find many sources. You may even find an on-line owners manual. GM has these but not sure about Toyota.

If the noise stops when the car stops, it's in the wheels. If it sounds like a roaring sound, it's a wheel bearing that needs replaced. If it sound like "Whoop..whoop..whoop.." it's a bad tire...

How do you program a keyless remote to a 2000 celica gts?

I saw this on one of the Toyota forums;

1) Getting a Replacement Remote

Look on eBay or Google, make sure the remote has the following FCC-ID: bab237131-056

2) Installing the remote (credit to iPal)

1 open door, take key out...

2 insert and remove key from ignition 2 times

3 close and open driver's door 2 times

4 insert and remove key from ignition

5 close and open driver's door 2 times

6 insert key into ignition

7 close door

8 turn ignition from 'lock' to 'on' and back to 'lock'

if you do step #8

*1 time it's for add mode

*2 times for rewrite mode

*3 times for confirmation mode

*4 times for prohibition mode

9 remove key

10 then door lock will cycle 'lock' and 'unlock' a number of times

corresponding to your key cycles in step #8

11 press lock and unlock button together for 1 ~ 1.5 sec then release

12 then within 3 sec press lock button for 1 sec then release

13 if you did correctly door lock will cycle once...

if wrong, twice... then do it over...

How much horsepower does a 1980 Toyota Celica have?

What do you need to do to fix a 2001 celica gt that will not blow out heat but the fan still blows out cold air?

You need to figure out whats wrong by process of elimination...Locate the two heater hoses that come off the engine and go into the firewall (the wall behind the engine). These two hoses lead to your heater core (like a miniature radiator behind that wall) With the engine hot, feel the hoses (usually one on top and one beneath, on the left when you are facing the rear of the car) When the engine is hot, and BOTH hoses are hot, that means your heater core is plugged.(least likely). If that's the case you need someone to flush out the core, under preassure. The most likely scenerio is that one or both of the hoses are COLD to touch. This means the thermostat is not working right and needs to be replaced. A bad thermostat will not open and make your engine run "cold" which will also KILL your gas mileage. A good mechanic should be able to replace a thermostat without bankrupting you! Thiswould be the best and easiest problem you could wish for. Best of Luck!!

Answerlow coolant or a bad water pump could be the problem, but there was no mention of overheating so neither of those are likely causes. i suspect that you have a control problem. the heater core is encased in a box that has flaps on it to allow either air to flow over it(heat mode), or to bypass it(cool mode). if the flaps don't work for any number of reasons, and are stuck in bypass then you wouldn't get heat. and both heater hoses would be hot (not necessarily a plugged core). the first place i check on these is the heater valve. one of the heater hoses connects to it. its under the hood connected to the firewall and has a lever that is operated by a cable from the heater control. if the cable is disconnected and the valve is closed, you wont get any heat. the problem with this car is access to the valve is very difficult due to the size of the engine compartment and the overhang of the windshield support. probably best left to a mechanic. Answersame problem in my 2002 celica, quart and a half low on antifreeze, lots of heat now

Is a 1991 Dodge Stealth better than a 1987 Toyota Celica?

a dodge stealth is not in the same standing as a celica.A stealth will out perform a celica any day.drives better ect...A dodge stealth is a high performance sports car that was way ahead of its time.A DODGE STEALTH is the funnest car i have ever driven...over vette, supra ect I have drove them all.A STEALTH RT/TT AWD will blow out a vette, supra very easy. I own 2 stealths and a zo6 vette, the stealth will leave it in the dust....From the jam packed cockpit that has all the gagues you will ever need to a very powerful v6 twin turbo awd ,Suspension,Drivetrain, Electronics,Steering & Chassis,Interior,Body & Lighting, and just plain looks..... __________________________________________________________________ ^I tried to read that and believe and understand some of it, but i couldn't. So here's my take: It depends on what you're looking to do. You didn't mention if it was an RT, or just the base FWD version on the Stealth, and you didn't mention what trim level Celica. If you're going to compare base model to base model, i would say that the Celica is a more capable, reliable car. The Stealth weighs almost 1000lbs more than a Celica, and that isn't exactly condusive to performance. The Stealth is also a huge pain to work on, it's an extremely packed, cluttered engine bay. It gets worse gas mileage, build quality isn't as high as on the Celica.... the list goes on. If you're looking for end result in performance, the ultimate horsepower car... then you get the Stealth RT and spend the rest of your life dumping money into it, busting your knuckles trying to wrench on it, and even though your car may have eleventy million horsepower.... it still weighs WAY too much to ever feel "nimble." Neither is better than the other.

Do you need to upgrade the 100A service in your house to run power to a detached garage?

All depends on what type of equipment you are going to operate in the garage. I would suggest you call an electrician. You can connect to your existing 100 amp circuit if there is an empty spot for a breaker.

How do you refasten the glass rear window on a 2000 Corvette convertible?

I used 3m tape (trim tape) to resecure the window, and It worked great for about 2 months till it got hot out then window came out again. the window is heat sealed to the top and is not repairable you must replace the top. mine cost $950.00 and they found that the frame was cracked and had to be sent out to be welded total cost $1150.00

I have a 1996 Pontiac firebird, and the rear glass separated from the top, i found a product from GE called silicone II, this is a very strong and sturdy glue for wet and dry applications, i first used it in my washing machine water drum, so far it has been 2 years since the repair, i used this same product on my convertible top and it works wonderfully, ensure the area is cleaned and oil free i used isotone to clean the surface, then u apply a steady line of GE silicone II to the actual material itself and mate it up to the glass and let it set over night for best results, let dry in shade, let your top down about 1/4 of the way to leave some slack in the top this product comes in a 2.8 oz tube, at a cost of 22.95 per tube. so far so good been 9 months since the repair

You can definatly reglue the back glass on your corvette. A product used for installing windshields called " Urethane" will work for it, it is much stronger than silicone, however it is extremly messy. Dont get any on the top, because you wont get it off! I own a auto glass and trim shop.

ANSWER

Have a '03 Corvette Convertible and did the following:

1.Clean surface, unlock the top and place a 2" spacer to relieve stress on window interface.

2.Apply thin coat of 3M Glass Primer [08682 or 08681] to the glass area to be glued -10 min dry time.

3.Apply 3/16" bead of 3M Windo-Weld adhesive 10.5 oz tube [08609] over primer - Press the surface of the top around the window to provide a good contact and extrude excess adhesive.

4.Prop up the window from inside the car to provide good contact between the glass and top - this is important. I also placed some duct tape in a few locations at the window top interface to assist in holding the top to glass. Cover top to protect from rain - leave top unlocked with spacer.

5. I let it cure for 3 days because of my outdoor weather conditions, but the curing conditions [Temp/RH] can be found on the 3M Web Site.

6. Carefully clean excess adhesive with razor blade.

7. Cost about $25. Materials can be ordered online or at a body shop supplies retailer
