Yes. Been there, done that (Sequoia 2nd generation). I am quite sure that it would not fit in 1st gen.

the rod for the door handle is held on with a plastic clip it may have wore out

Tools: small pocket size screwdriver, long screwdriver, Phillips head screwdriver.

First, remove the small screw cover behind the door handle then remove the screw next, remove the screw cover and screw near the hinge on the top portion of panel then, remove the screw cover and screw under the arm rest/handle, next there are two plastic pop rivets on the latch side of the panel that must be popped out, finally using a long screwdriver pry under the panel on the sides and bottom to release the plastic pop rivets that are hidden inside. After all of these are removed push the panel up toward the window as is is hanging from the top.

To replace, make sure all plastic pop rivets are attached to the door panel, if not remove them from the door and attach them to the panel. Rehang the panel and align the door handle and make certain the wires are all behind the panel then smack the panel with your hand where the plastic rivets are located then replace all screws and screw covers.

Underneath the fog lamps you'll see the black plastic covering around the lamps, remove the screws that hold two together(no need to remove all screws), and slide your hand to the back of fog light. It's the kind of light that locks into place when you rotate it. Turn the light and slide the socket out. Once you've done that, remove bulb and put in new one and turn into position that secure it. It's easy if you jack the car up a little, but it's not necessary. Good luck

What a pain, I had to remove the bolt that holds the two pieces together as suggested, plus 2 along the side of the bumper and 1 closer to the middle of the larger piece in order to bend it down and fit my hand in.

To replace the foglight bulb, it's a lot easier to remove the headlight first. You will see two black tabs on the headlight, pull them straight up and wiggle the headlight to the front. Then the foglight will be right underneath. You won't have to get on the ground at all.

To remove the stereo first you have to disassemble the dash obviously. So to start that,you have to remove the wood trim under the black piece of dash, after that you have to pop out the four vents in the black piece. This is simple to do, all you do is turn them to the right or left and push it on that side and it should pop out. Then remove all the screws of the black piece of dash. NOTE: you may have to put the car in first gear to get the shifter out of your way. Then after you have that off, the rest is just basic removal!

I am trying to figure this out as well, but just for the passenger side..

on the driver's side.

1.) you need a Torx driver (T-20) to remove the 3 screws in the bottom of the panel and a Phillips for the screw up near the rear view mirror

2.) on the door handle (not the one to open the door, but the one down by the window controls and locks) you will be able to remove the back part of the handle by pulling it towards the door, you may have to wiggle it.

3.) once that is out remove the whole unit slowly and be sure to disconnect the cable for the controls

4.) unscrew the small Phillips screws inside there

5.) pry away at the sides.. you'll hear popping, but no worries, nothing is broken.

6.) pull up to detach the panel from the window ledge.

7.) remove all other teathered cables

There you have it..

HINT: when replacing your panel, roll your window down to reattach at the window ledge or else it will be a long night

There were two models. One that had the button in the glove compartment and the manual ones. If you have the switch in the glove box, make sure your vehicle is turned on. If that still doesn't work, it could be a bad fuse.

If you have the manual one, you have to push on the door on the side closest to the driver's door. That will push the other side open.

my 96 deville has a button on the dash by the trunk button or there is a pull handle in the trunk

UPDATE: I had the same problem with the fuel door latch on my 95' Cadi DeVille but this was due to cold weather and the mechanism freezing up and it was not an electrical or fuse problem. When you open the trunk, pull back the uphostly on the left side and you should see wires (not electrical) connecting to a plastic cylinder which contols the pin that locks the door. The black plastic cylinder (not the clear cover around it) needs to be sprayed with some lubricant (I used the door lock lube w/ graphyte). Once you do that, there is a piece that sticks out on the cylinder. Switch the black piece up and it will unlock, move it down and it will lock. Hopefully this will help.

First, park you Sequoia in front of the garage door you want to sync. You need to hold down the button for garage door opener on the overhead pannel until the corresponding indicator light starts blinking. The 2004 Toyota Sequoia has a V8 engine.

Put both windows down to their stops, then simulataneously bring both windows up to their stops. This should normalize the window function.

The Sequoia has four oxygen sensors, two on each side. The ones in front of catalytic are pos 1 and after are pos 2. Bank 2 is on passenger side, Bank 1 is on the driver's side.

I want to know how to change the timing belt in a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, and do I need any special tool's (other than mechanic's tool's) Thank You for your help!!
