when you start the car up that's your ignition switch is located...
The 2000 Volkswagon Cabrio OBD 2 port is under dash at left side
it's located inside the steering column. Remove 3 screws on the lower
steering column cover. Its the white plastic on the oposite side of the ignition.
1 bar is atmospheric pressure, or 15psi. 4 bar (not "bars") would therefore be 60psi.
there is no part called an "ignition controller". one part is called the ignition control module or "power stage" which is on the left side inside fender wall partially hidden by the air cleaner, the other part is called the ecu, electronic control unit or computer and it is under the dash above the accelerator pedal.
Yes they are interchangeable, but if you put g60 headlights in the slc car, they will sit about 1/2" inset. If you put slc lights in a g60 car, the will sit about 1/2" out. I have G60 E-codes on my car, and I like how they are inset.
Hi, problem with alarm and central locking and power windows on 93 94 Corrado is often caused by a fuse located abovethe fuse and relay panel ,very well hidden , cheers
Of course you can run your VW corrado without the factory supercharger just remove the belt of the supercharger and you're done the engine will still vaccum air through the filter which's connected to the supercharger.
What will happen to the car other than that if you're intrested to know
1-The car will lose some of it's power cause of the lose of the supercharger. so if you try race your corrado your chances to lose are higher!
2- the car air\fuel mixture MIGHT be rich(more fuel than air) and as I said might.
3- You'll get better gas mileage cause the car is runned by a MAP sensor(Manifold Air Pressure sensor) which messuares the pressure the supercharger is pushing and converts that into a signal to the ECU(Engine Control Unit) so it knows how much fuel that air needs for the right combustion so when you remove your supercharger the air pressure will drop to be in the minus area meaning less fuel will be injected so you'll get better gas mileage.
I'm no god so this info might not be 100% accurate but what I'm 100% sure of that you'll get no harm AT ALL by JUST removing the belt of your supercharger.
ANSWER 2: not actually that simple. you'll need to bypass some things and you WILL lose a lot of power (a semi truck will be able to beat you off the line). mine also started to choke around 3500rpm. the gas mileage is worse. more info is to be found on www.corrado-club.ca.
Relays are on the circuit board in the pump unit. This is located in a foam case in the boot right hand side.Usually changed as a complete unit.

If your locking system is not functioning ,and usually the power windows and alarm are all linked together, powered by one small fuse witch is located just above the fuse / relay panel very well hidden and hard to find , it will not be shown in the directory panel ., hope this helps ,thanks Louis
yes only if you know how to take good care of it and not treat it like a beater
take off the inner door handle trim, and the grab handle (2 screws), there is also a few screws around the trim (door jam area). it is a pretty easy job.
i really need some help, i panicked and removed the relays from the fuse box and don't know what order to put them back in.
should be on the back of the cover. if you're missig it, you can find a complete diagram on internet (google) or just get a bentley repair manual.... its pricey but it will answer most of future questions as well.
