...the light assebly can be accessed from inside the bed, if you have a bed liner it must be removed or at least pulled back. there should be two or three large screws on the inside of the bed that need to be removed. the assembley will now be free to move the slack of the wires. a simple twist and then pull will get the light out. Nissan had a recal on tail light assembleys a while back because the lights would loose connection inside the housing, some electrical grease would fix that. or you can take it by your local Nissan dealer and complain until they ablige. take some papoer work with you, recals can be found at "alldata.com"
