If your oil pressure warning is on in your 2000 gti vr6 do you need an oil pump?
should check the oil pressure switch first if that does not fix the problem than connect a oil pressure tool to see if u really dont have oil pressure. if got good oil pressure around 35 to 65 psi any thing lower replace oil pump.
I would try the cheapest route first Go but a oil pressure sender to see if that fixes the problem
The 2001 Volkswagen GTI is 13 ft. 8.9 in. (164.9 in.) long.
I believe GTI stands for "Gran Tourismo injection"
GTI stands for "grand tourer--injected" or "grand touring--injected", a designation typically reserved for sporty coupes. Although initially a technical classification, current carmakers use the acronym as a performance-oriented marketing tool.
The first car to be marketed with the abbreviation "GTI" was Maserati's 1961 3500 model. This car introduced fuel injection to the grand tourer class, hence the addition of an "I". Since then, GTI has become associated with performance.
GTI belongs to a whole group of grand touring classes, including GTO, GTR and GTA. These cars all claim high performance, comfort and luxury as defining traits, hence "grand touring"--they're supposed to be ideal for long-distance trips.
"Grand touring", or "grand tourer", are the English versions of "gran turismo"--the original Italian term for this type of car

How can you recharge the Ac in a 1996 Audi a4 quattro?
The 1996 A4 Quattro only has a "high side" refrigerant port. It is located on the (right) side of the radiator ((left if you are viewing from the front - look for the refrigerant lines going in to the exchanger).
With a single port, you must evacuate the entire system and replace the refrigerant with the proper amount. Adding from the cans available at the auto parts stores will not work on the high side.
What I did was to get a low presure pipe with the valve in the junker, cut the valve leaving 1-1/2" of pipe in both sides of the valve, then I open the pipe in half, make a hole in the low pressure pipe and clamp the low valve with hose clamps, I use a rubber hose as a seal. recharge system and done. Works perfect.

How do you reset the service indicator on 2002 Mercedes C230?
Turn your car off and remove key. Let it sit for a few minutes, then put key in and turn twice to the "on" position. Your a/c will come on but the car will not start. Scroll thru your menu until you see the maintenance alert then press and hold the reset stick. It will ask you if you want to reset and to press the stick again.
If it is not working, make sure you are in the "on" position, two clicks and not to start. Also make sure you gave your car enough off time.

What is the off set VW GTI VR6?
Offset maybe be relative to several things.
In a VR engine, though, it is most likely referring to the distance between each piston's line of travel and the line that passes through the crankshaft's centre.
Offset "\ /", no offset "V"
This is also sometimes called fulcrum.
The purpose of this offset is to allow the cylinders to be arranged in a very tight angle without intersecting.
To have such a tight angle without offset (as most normal Vs) would imply extremely long conrods in order to avoid bore interference.
In the case of VW's W12 (or more correctly WR12), which is basically two mated VR6s (V-VR), the offset is 12,5mm.

Blew the 100 amp fuse on a 1997 tracer what could have casued this?
I think there could be two main causes for this. I'm guessing you are referring the 100 amp fusible link...looks like a regular fuse, only larger? Age is one cause. Also, you could have a short somewhere in your electrical system. Did you use jumper cables lately? If those are reversed while jumping someone else off, you can blow out that fusible link.
