Stop complaining and put your seat belt on donekey, or you might end up like the guy I saw the other day, whose car overturned, he was thrown out of the side window, somersaulted in the air, hit the highway and then got hit by a car travelling in the opposite direction. Seat belts are there to protect you, so you should not need to disconnect the reminder. 15mm for top and bottom. Bottom one has a magnetic plug - check it for metal shavings.
A knock sensor is a device that senses detonation. Detonation occurs in the engine when the fuel begins to burn prematurely; it can cause substantial damage to the engine.
On dodge Neon you turn the ignition key 3 times (without going as far as turning the engine on). Maybe samne on many if not all cars? Then the codes will blink and you'll need the ODB2 code listing. Other option is to connect an ODB2 reader on the car's connector and read the codes directly.
I think I understand the reason for your confusion. You start under the console lid, removing the screws under plastic buttons at the front of the lid and, as I recall, screws at the bottom of the console tray. You then work your way forward, removing each panel until you get to the radio.
Air filter is in a box at the top rear of the engine. It is black plastic with silver clips holding it shut. --Ken
Try to open it by climbing in the back and reaching in with a finger and pushing up on the latch. If this works spray the lock mecanism with wd-40. If it does not work then try spraying the lock on the outside. Good Luck
The 2003 Subaru Forester has a 5-speed manual.
The lambda sensor telle the Engine Control Unit how well the fuel is being combusted, so that the ECU can set the engine to run smoothly, cleanly and reliably.
17mm worked for our 2009 this am Feb 14,2009
i had to search because I had never heard of an sf5(SF5) Forester. Seems that's a chassis designation. Can't imagine any practical use whatsoever in knowing the brake horsepower but you will have to specify the model year. When you have that, you can skip the middleman do the search yourself on Google.
Remove the fuse from the main fuse box. Then the solenoid connect the rear wheels and u will enjoy the AWD drive.

The 2000 Subaru Forester takes 21" drivers, 19" passenger side and 14" rear wiper blades. See sources and related links below. Do not buy wipers just by length however, and be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers for the brand wiper you decide to purchase by vehicle make, model and year. This ensures correct length AND attachment.
To fix the Subaru from starting when the temp drops below 32 --- just put new plugs in and us 92 octane fuel. It made a huge difference in our two Foresters.
I'm assuming you mean engine cooling fan but I'll tell you both, the engine cooling fan has two fuses located in the upper left hand side of fuse box in engine compartment, when i say upper left i mean when standing along side fender, fuse no 20 and 21, the heater fan fuses are in upper left side of fuse box behind cointray , this is on lower dash to left of steering column fuse 1 and 2, good luck
I just can't imagine why you would want to even attempt this. You know that you do need to change the front differential ratio at the same time. You do know that it is all wheel drive, right?. As for changing the rest of the driveline, you will need to ask the supplier of the differential whether the old parts will work with the new differential. There is no inherent reason why you would need to do so.
Incorrect.^^^ The front diff. is built into the tranny. You can bolt the 4.44 trans and rear right in no problems. Ive done it. The reason he would do so is to get a lower gear ratio for more low end, great for racing, rallying, etc. kinda low for cruising the highway, but usable.-Tomcat

Remove 5 screws under steering column Crack open and remove steering column covers. Mine 1999 manual has 500 rpm and it's normal (technology similar to honda's v-tec).
