First, they probably don't have a US license to practice in the USA. Second, why should they? They probably live the same standard of living in Mexico charging Mexican prices as US dentists in the USA have, and they don't have all of the bureaucratic b.s. to deal with.

In order to be eligible to take the ADC Final Examination, candidates must first pass an occupational English test (within the last two years) and a multiple-choice preliminary exam. The final examination is held only in Australia. Candidates are required to obtain a temporary entry visa and pay all expenses. Dry socket occurs usually due to the dislodgement of the blood clot that forms after extraction. It may also occur due to traumatic extraction in the dentist has done too much scooping of the extraction socket. That socket becomes very painful and sensitive to food and even air. In your case, it looks like dentist has not done the job,but the tooth has fallen out on its own. Did u see the entire root come out as well? There are chances that only the top(crown) portion of tooth that was hollow and decayed tooth may have fallen out, and root is still inside. In that case the remaining tooth maybe be sharp and hurt you. The pain you have may also be bcoz of infection in that tooth. In any case the best bet would be to see a dentist.

'My wife has experienced in our opinion, the worst dentist ever and he is in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico... His name is Dr. Victor M. Silva. He put in an implant in her upper jaw and two days later she had a very bad infection. Upon Dr. Silva looking at it, he just stated that it was too small of an implant and grabed it with his finger and just pulled it out ... He did not even offer her any anti-biotics until I insisted on them... His practice is a one room office/examining room that is not sanitary and usually he is there by himself without an assistant.

After removing the implant, he told her to come back in two months and he would put in another one that was longer. When my wife returned, to his office, he then told her that there was not enough bone and that she should come back in one year, At this point (4 trips later from Tucson to Nogales)we did not want to deal with him anymore and asked for our money back, he straight out refused to refund the money that we had given him as a down payment for the service.

I would strongly suggest that this dentist be avoided at all if looking for a good dentist in Nogales. REMEMBER, his name is Dr. Victor M. Silva. He will take your money and give you the run around.

I'll make some assumptions: You're a Student Pilot or a fresh Private pilot with less than 75-100 hours. You'll be looking at a relatively cheap option, likely a single-engined land airplane like a Cessna 172 equipped for IFR training. Your goal is to be "instrument rated" at the end of the training Anyways, you'll need time in ground school, simulator time, and actual "hood" time in th e airplane...its not cheap, but its not too bad either. A flight school here in Arizona offers an 11-day Instrument program for folks like the above for around $5500, inclusive of the above mentioned training. You'd be in a C-172, get lots of good ground school time, lots of sim time, a competant instructor, and quite a few hours in the cockpit as well. I'd bet the cheapest to be $4000, the most expensive to be around $7000. Good luck to ya!
