it depends on how she got married! if she got marrried the Islamic way then she needs an Islamic divorce, because then she is only seen as married through the eyes of Islam!

however, if she got married through the british embassy with papers and etc and he is here in engalnd and he has papers then this means yes, you will need to get a proper divorce! make sure that if u are islamiclly married as well, u will need to go to an imam and get divorced through this way too! otherwise if u choose to go bk to morocco you will be seen as married (including any Islamic county) and u will NT beable to remarry tll u have divorced!
