To replace the thermostat in a 1994 Acura Legend you will first need to follow the vehicleÕs radiator hose to the area where it connects to the engine. The area of connection is known as the thermostat housing. Squeeze the two tabs on the radiator hose clamp using a pair of pliers and pull the hose off of the thermostat housing. Remove the bolts which hold the lid to the thermostat housing so the housing can be removed. Remove the thermostat and its gasket from the housing. Clean the mating surfaces of the thermostat housing and lid. Place the new thermostat in the housing and attach the gasket making sure that the spring end of the thermostat sits in the housing and the pin is facing out. Put the lid in place and secure it with the proper bolts. Replace the radiator hose on the thermostat housing and reclamp it.

Set the radiator into place and secure it with the radiator retaining bolts. Attached the radiator stabilizing arm. Attached the radiator hoses to the engine. Fill the radiator with fluid.

You did not say what year and engine size it was, so I can't tell you the fuel pressure spec's. But I would first check and replace the fuel filter. If that don't make it run then you need to check the fuel pump pressure. YOU probley have low fuel pressure and it has to be a sertine pounds of pressure

The thermostat is located at the back of the engine near where the radiator hoses attach. There is a housing held in by two bolts. It may be necessary to remove the air cleaner housing to access it. The new thermostat from Honda comes with the gasket and can only be installed one way (with the pin up).

More than likely you have warped rotors. Have the rotors and brakes inspected. If the rotors are not too bad and have not been turned before they can be turned and trued and used again. You will also need new brake pads.

Simple. There is a circular gasket for each spark plug between located between the valve cover and the engine. If they are not properly sealed, the oil from the top of engine will leak out of the valve cover and pool into the spark plug sockets. You must remove the oil BEFORE you remove the spark plugs. Anyway, the fix is purchase and install a new valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets and use a gasket sealant.

They really never did. The Legend moniker was dropped in for the North American market for the 1996 model year, however, they kept the "L" as part of the two letter model designation. IE Acura CL is just a Coupe Legend, and the TL was the Sedan Legend.

Some parts are, the 2.7liter is but some of it's electrical components are not

In fact, Gates only makes it available in 1 foot lengths. My local store doesn't stock it, but it is available the same afternoon from their distribution center. Good luck! Your in a high condensation area and it has collected in your exhaust system and causes old mufflers and exhaust system to rust.

YOU CAN TAKE IT TO A SHOP AND HAVE THEM PUT IT ON THE SNAP ON COMPUTER AND RESET IT...HOWEVER..IF YOUR SENSORS ARE DIRTY IT WILL CAUSE IT TO COME BACK ON I WOULD TAKE THE WHEELS OFF...FIND THE SENSORS REMOVE THEM AND THEN CLEAN THEM WITH CONTACT CLEANER OR BRAKE CLEANER THEN RE INSTALL THEM..YOU MIGHT CAN REMOVE THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AND RESET THE ECM...HOPE I HAVE HELPED ......P.RICH

VSS=vehicle speed sensor. That acronym is the same for all OBDII compliant vehicles

There are several places you will find the serial number for a 1994 Acura Legend. You can find this number on the driver's side of the vehicle at the lower corner of the window. You will also find this number on the inside of the driver's side door along the edge. The vehicle serial number is also printed on insurance, registration, and title for a vehicle as well.

Check the release fuse first. Then check the relay, and the switch. If these are all ok, then check the solenoid at the release inside of the trunk.

code 4 is your Crank shaft postion sensor

The fan motor has probably failed.
