Remove the two 10mm bolts that attach the air box to the frame just under the gas tank. Then you can drop the bottom of the air box and pull it out sideways

Yes it does. It is behind a small plastic cover under the dash and just above the hump in the middle of the floor board. It has 2 small screws that hold the cover in place.

It is probably the fuel sending unit inside the fuel tank. Sometimes there is a cover that you can remove to replace it. Other times the fuel tank has to be removed to replace it.

EGR values usually don't fail. Usually it is a wire broke or disconnected. This is what I have found. Some of the high school mechanics that work at professional garages tend to forget to hook these back up after doing something else to your car. A good mechanic (at aLincoln dealership) told me that if you have to replace the EGR valve, you probably have a much larger problem with the car (like the engine).

If you still need to replace this valve, I recommend going to an auto parts store, buy the valve. This way you know what you are looking for. On my 97 Lincoln, it was a couple of bolts and a wire or two. It was also located on the very top of the motor which was fairly convenient to work on. Keep ,your receipt so if you want to return it.

What I found, was my the doofus Ford mechanic forgot to plug it back on. I plugged it back on and my car ran great, so I returned the EGR valve.

there is no air temp sensor . There is n air charge sensor. Its next to the # 1 cylinder on the passenger side of the engine compartment. installed on the top of the intake manifold. It is behind the hoses that come out of the thermostat. not in front of those hoses, that would be your coolant temperature sensor. Its the one behind the little coolant tem hosesgoing to the heater core. Wish someone could help me............................

Remove everything on top of the intake (hoses, fuel rails, linkages.) Unbolt the manifold and remove it. Clean the old gasket off and replace it. Reinstall all parts removed to get to the gasket.

The filter is located under the vent grille, directly in front of the windshield on the passenger side of the vehicle. Purchase a new Purolator filter and it will more than likely come with instructions, but just in case it doesn't here are instructions. (1) Turn off the ignition switch while leaving the wipers in the up position. (2) Open the hood and properly secure it in the open position. (3) Gently pull the rubber cowl seal away from the cowl vent screen. Place your hand underneath the right half of the cowl vent screen and lift straight up, thereby releasing the four spring clips and removing the right half of the screen. (4) Remove the water shield. Carefully disengage the two water shield locking tabs and slide the water shield toward the front of the vehicle, lifting the water shield up and away from the vehicle. (5) Remove the Passenger Compartment Air Filter, being careful not to allow debris or loose components to fall into the filter housing. Replace the Passenger Compartment Air Filter with a fresh filter and reverse the above procedures to reassemble the vehicle components.

If they are like gaskets used for surgical trays then endless just means you have to cut to size and ends must be joined or overlapped . The other type is made to the specific size and there are no ends, it is just a ring. There are other kinds of gaskets of course including ones that are semi liquid when applied and have to set .

About 10-15 horsepower is a noticeable change. Kind of like turning the AC off and on. You can feel the change in power. A spacer on this engine will net you a small percentage of maybe 1hp. We are talking fractional You will not ever feel, notice or have a use for the difference it will make. Complete waste of money.

You will need a replacement cabin air filter and a Phillips head screwdriver to replace the in cabin air filter on an Infiniti G35. The filter is located under the passenger side floor mat under the glove box assembly.

While this could indicate a problem; a loose or leaking oil filter, or loose oil cooler connections, if supplied, it usually is not a problem for the air intake, as long as sunlight can be seen through the air filter. In fact the oil would aid in trapping dust particles, and some air filters require a squirt of oil after cleaning for this purpose.

open the hood. look right. it's right behind the battery. big black box. unscrew two screws with a ratchet: one's on the front right, the other on the rear right of the box. you'll need an extension for your ratchet to reach that one. don't worry about losing the screws -- they won't come out all the way. the cover will lift up -- but NOT easily. too many wires in the way as well as the big hose coming out of the the rear of the box. pull out the old filter -- not easy either, as it will get snagged on the screw holding in the battery. notice the position of the old filter (rounded corner front right). get out your shop vac and vaccuum inside the box. before putting in the new filter, make sure it's going in with the rounded corner on the front right. otherwise it won't fit exactly and you won't know why the heck the cover won't go back on easily. carefully slip the new filter in. like i say, take care not to snag it on that darn screw. make sure it's level, too, the back of the filter wants to dip into the box instead of sitting on the lip of the bottom of the box. to put the cover back, you need to make sure the top and bottom of the box fit into each other on the left side. then you need to put the screws back in. don't use a screwdriver for the rear one, else you might misthread it, as visibility back there is poor.

By intake, I assume you mean intake manifold? Typically if your intake manifold gasket is leaking, it can have one if not several of these signs. First your Engine typically will run or idle rough, due to a vacuum leak. You could see visual signs of exhaust, anti-freeze, and or oil leakage. On some Engines you might even see your oil and anti-freeze getting mixed together in your oil pan. You also could see white exhaust fumes out of your vehicle's tail pipe, due to anti-freeze in your exhaust system. These are just a few of the signs of a leaky manifold.
