Singapore is bordered by the Strait of Malacca to the west and the South China Sea to the east.

Some countries with coastlines that touch more than one major ocean include Russia (touches the Arctic and Pacific Oceans), Canada (touches the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans), and the United States (touches the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans).

Estimates vary, but it is estimated that corporations own or lease around 10% of the Earth's land. Ownership can vary depending on the region and type of land use.

The Labrador Current is a cold ocean current that flows southward along the coast of Labrador and Newfoundland in Canada. It can impact North Atlantic shipping lanes by creating thick fog, strong winds, and rough seas, making navigation more difficult and hazardous for ships in the area. The cold water temperature can also affect the stability and performance of ships passing through these waters.

A coast is the land that borders a body of water, such as an ocean or sea. It is the point where land and water meet, and can vary in characteristics from sandy beaches to rocky cliffs. Coasts are important ecosystems that provide habitats for various marine and terrestrial species.

The famed airship was the Hindenburg. It transported 97 passengers and crew across the Atlantic in May 1937 before tragically catching fire and crashing in New Jersey.

But, in reality, and seriously, you would either die from exposure in the icy Atlantic waters, or be lucky enough to get on a lifeboat and survive.

Fish are mostly made of water, like us. However, they don't contain as much gas in their bodies as we do (oxygen in our blood, burrito gas in our stomachs, and air pockets in our ear canals.) Their bodily water pressure is at the same pressure as the water in their surroundings. If we were born and raised down there too, we'd probably be wondering how those creatures on the surface survive WITHOUT pressure! (Yes, we do have 14.7 psi of air pressure - and we'd be hurt if we suddenly had zero pressure, such as in space.)

The Strait of Florida is the canal that connects the Gulf of Mexico with the Atlantic Ocean.

A megalopolis is when several large cities merge together as their borders grow,the resulting supercity is a megalopolis.

EX: Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C. .

On the Upper half of South America on the left of it there is a small country surrounded on three sides by Senegal and its Western border is the Atlantic Ocean. That very tiny country is called: 'The Gambia'.

The Pacific is very large, so the Atlantic was predominantly a spot for shipping. With much trade going on in the Atlantic, it boosted the growth of many colonies that all evolved into their own States.

The Pacific, on the other hand, had little shipping and fewer diverse colonies from settlers, leading to larger States.

The earlier States were severely limited by transportation issues that mandated short distances between economic and political centers. As technology improved particularly the railroad the nation was able to travel farther and faster. Roads and personal vehicles, the advent of the aircraft and the bush pilot made settlement possible even in very large areas like Alaska, Crops and livestock could be shipped to population centers and to export ports.
