I could not find this model # listed under a JC Higgins cross ref. list. I did find a Sears M# 66 listed as being made by High Standard. The old High Standard Co., though, has been out of business for many years. The new High Standard Co. in business since 1993 makes, to my knowledge, only semi-auto handgun. They are located in Houston Tx.

I work at AutoZone and they pay us minimum wage there if you are wearing a red shirt. At AutoZone their marketing is that we do free installations*(*Most vehicles) on certain parts on vehicles, i.e. batteries, wipers, light bulbs, and air filters. We don't do anything further because we are not mechanics there, some of us have the trade (but don't get paid extra for it). The Free installations* is a courtesy. Working there I feel that we should get a tip especially if we install a battery, bulb, or air filters. Some vehicles a bulb is easy as 1-2 minutes and for that I don't expect one, some take some time, some tools and for those I feel I am going out of my way, so I feel a tip is expected. Wipers I do not expect a tip period. But a battery I feel if I install one and don't get a tip, I feel I got stiffed. Only reason being is, if you took your vehicle to a repair shop, dealer, they will sell you a battery and charge you installation, (let's do the math, $100 for battery, book time for battery is usually around one hour, so if a shop is $60 per hour that's $160 for a battery, or dealer $100 per hour, that's $200. Some repair shops may just have a flat fee buy battery from them and they will do the installation as a favor for $20, that's $120. At autozone batteries range from $70-$100, and tipping us autozoners $5-$10 is is very kind and beats paying the $120 plus figures above.

You should be an example to our AutoZoners across the country. Try to go above and beyond. Make yourself more useful. showing that initiate is what catches managements attention. No matter how much the customer pays for a AutoZone part, if we can reasonably install it, we do it for free. If you do not feel as though you are paid enough, speak to your management and advise them of your feelings, you wont be required to do it, but you will be seen as irresponsible and unavoidably remain in your current position at AutoZone.

There you will use your employee ID number and your ignition password you should have created if not create one. From there you can view your pay stub and access any documents.
