Can my dog br in the passenger seat?
The safest place for a dog in the car is in a travel crate. Second best place is in a doggy seatbelt. If you put the dog in the crate then wherever the crate fits is okay, so long as it's flat enough and can't move around too much. For a seatbelt, i would put him in the back so if there is an accident he wont get hurt by the air bag.
A travel crate can be dangerous if not secured. Putting your dog in a dog car harness with seat belt attachment made out of approved seat belt webbing is the safest way to transport your dog safely and keep you and any passengers safe in the car too.
Can you have a passenger on a 125cc?
A 125cc is a pretty small bike. My first bike was a Honda Rebel 250cc and it held two people pretty well. We never went on the highway two-up but it was pretty good for city/suburban streets. The 125 is just a little smaller so you can probably carry a passenger.
How much fuel does a jet use per mile?
After flying from PHL (Philadelphia, PA) to Madrid, Spain in an Airbus 330, I asked the pilot how much fuel we used. It is approximately a 6.5 hour flight, about 3667 miles or 5900.4 Km. The pilot said we burned about 110,000 pounds of jet fuel, or about 22,000 gallons, since jet fuel weighs about 5 pounds per gallon. In metric units, 49,940 Kg. Since jet fuel floats on water (is less dense, therefore takes more than a liter per Kg), the volume would be more than 49,940 liters. Multiplying 22,000 gallons by 3.785 gallons per liter gives us about 83,000 liters (a first order estimate).
Since there are 390 minutes in 6.5 hours, we burned about 30 pounds of jet fuel per mile, or about 8.5 Kg per Km. Per minute (remember, the jet is doing about 10 miles per minute, or about 600 miles per hour, about 900 Km per hour), 282 pounds of jet fuel (which smells a lot like kerosene), or 128 Kg per minute.
At approximately 4 USD per gallon, the fuel cost was about 88,000 USD, or about 13,500 USD per hour of flight. At 3.00 USD per gallon, the fuel cost is about 66,000 USD, or about 10,150 USD per hour. This covers the current price range for kerosene type jet fuel as of today (3.23 USD spot price), Tuesday April 10 2012.
Prices for Jet-A (higher grade jet fuel) range between 4 and 7 USD per gallon, so if the A330 requires Jet-A, the cost would be much higher. The A330 seats between approximately 250 and 335 passengers, depending on the specific model (-300, etc) and the seating arrangement (3 classes (First, Business and Coach), 2 classes (First and Coach), number of seats in each class, etc).
What is the fuel consumption of a Boeing 747?
A plane like a Boeing 747 uses approximately 1 gallon of fuel (about 4 liters) every second.
According to Boeing's Web site, the 747 burns approximately 5 gallons of fuel per mile (12 liters per kilometer). [See related link]
Different variants with different specifications and engines will alter slightly but the general

In which war were V-1 flying bombs used?
The V-1 was used in World War 2. The Germans developed it and then later the V-2. They were launched from France against targets in England, most without any sort of guidance system.
How many gallons of fuel will a 1992 mercury grand marquise use per mile?
According to a website I was looking at :
For a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis , 4.6 liter V8 engine :
( 16 / 17 in the city and 23 / 24 on the highway , miles per U.S. gallon )
Many propeller airplanes have variable pitch propellers, these can be set to a reverse pitch which allows the aircraft to back up on the ground and can also be used to help an aircraft slow down once it has landed on the runway. On a jet there is reverse thrust, which is a deflector(s) which when engaged forces the jet thrust forward past the outside of the jet engine. This also allows a jet to back up on the ground and can be used to slow down a jet once it has landed.
How much does it cost to refuel a Boeing 747?
The initial 747-100/200 models hold 48,000 gallons of fuel and can fly 6,000 miles, so if the plane were to fly 85% of its range on a 5,000 mile flight, it would take about 41,000 gallons of fuel to top the tanks off afterwards at a cost of about $195,000. The plane can seat a maximum of 540 passengers in a 1 class economy layout so just the price of fuel comes to about $360 per person with every seat full.
On the 747-400 model, it holds 57,000 gallons of fuel and can fly 8,000 miles, so if it were to fly 85% of its range on a 6,800 mile flight, it would take about 48,000 gallons to top the tanks off afterwards at a cost of about $230,000. This version can seat a maximum of 660 passengers in a 1 class economy layout so just the price of fuel comes to about $350 per person with every seat full.
The final and newest variant is the 747-8i. It holds 64,000 gallons of fuel and can fly 9,000 miles, so if it were to fly 85% of its range on a 7,500 mile flight, it would take about 54,000 gallons to top the tanks off afterwards at a cost of about $255,000. This version can seat a maximum of 605 passengers in a 1 class layout so just the price of fuel comes to about $420 per person with every seat full.
A monorail can go at a maximum speed of 100 km/h but in urban environments it will go at an average of 80 km/h.
However, new technologies involving induction energy might be used on monorails in the future allowing a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
What are the dimensions of a Boeing 747 horizontal stabiliser?
The Boeing 747 line of aircraft are fairly consistent in dimensions but the performance is what improves dramatically from the 100's to the 400's. (400Series) aircraft specs are:
Length - 231' 10"
Wingspan - 211' 5"
Height - 63' 8"
Wing area - 5825 sf At takeoff the max weight is 870,000lbs - pretty amazing if I do say so myself!
