not necessarly because experiences and situations change people on the day to day basis and even if people really love each other if they have been separated or have not been around each other for a long time they end up drifting away from the feelings and attractions that made them fall in love with eachother in the first place,however if the two people were not in a relationship but have constant contact with each other and if the previous feelings were intense they might gravitate towards each other all over again.

We can only assume she broke it off with you; otherwise, you wouldn't be perplexed by her wishing to keep in touch. Assuming it was her idea to break up, it could be that she doesn't want to burn her bridges. Perhaps she had feelings for you but wanted to date other people and felt you were getting too attached, so she broke it off before things got too difficult for you (and her) to manage. Now, she's in another relationship and says it's going well (for now, that is), but who knows how long THAT will last? You could be her safety net. Some people have trouble making clean breaks. Maybe she still cares about you and wants to be friends.

I think the answer is different for everyone. I don't think a re-bound relationship is fair to the other person & I want a serious relationship so I would wait until he's not on my mind 1st thing every morning and last every night. I would give myself time to heal, which will be different for each individual depending on the relationship they were in. Only you know when you're ready. If you go on a date and you're not ready, you will know it while you're on that date. It's important to get "yourself back" and get your confidence if you've lost it. Just do what's good for you and be good to yourself so that when the time comes you'll have something to offer someone else and be able to recognize someone who has something to offer in a relationship. Figure out and fix whatever your part was that helped to cause the break-up so that the same thing doesn't happen next time you date.

I was in a very serious relationship a week ago and we broke up. We were moving very quickly and we were only in 8th grade. What annoyed me the most was that she kept saying I Love You. I know she doesnt love me, she doesnt know what love means yet. Shes the kind of girl that gets attached to stupid things, like her 16 year old cat died and she was hung up over it for 3 weeks. She had her head down and wouldn't talk to anyone. Anyways I want to date again but I don't want to hurt her feelings. So what im saying is don't let them stop you from dating because if they don't care anyway it shouldn't matter.

First ask your self if you really want to brake up with her. if you still want to then talk to her. if she doesnt feel the same way then try and sort things between you, you never know, you might fix things and love her again. If all fails or you simply want to end it then just tell her the truth, and why you feel you shouldn't be together, but don't be mean about it. for example if you are intrested in another girl don't say "your boring me, and i love her now", say "I'm really sorry but i don't think we should be together anymore, my feelings are starting to widen for other people, and i don't want to have a fake relationship." WHAT EVER YOU DO NEVER END IT WITH A GIRL OVER A ONLINE MESSENGING WEBSITE, OR BY SMS TEXT. You should really tell her face to face, but if you are finding that to hard then do it over the phone. Its really hard having a broken heart. I know the feeling and i can't simply say to you to get over it. But if there are some unsolved problems you and the other person has, you guys need to fix it even though it might not bring you, but at least when you fixed the problems it'll help you a bit. Now, just because you guys broke up up doesn't that you guys can't be friends. So try telling that person that you still wanna be friends. Its okay to cry some times but don't do it everyday though (its bad for you), and it'll take few months/years to get over it, but it okay, at least your heart is now slowly recovering. I advise you not to get another boyfriend/girlfriend just to show him/her off to the other person, no, remember being together means you love each other and you have trust. Friends and a close family relative could help you. Talk to them, don't be shy, I mean you've been there when they needed you, now you need them. Just don't let that ruin your life, i know that this boy/girl might be important to you, but it only means that this boy/girl isn't the one for you. Now there's a lot of reason why you might be broken heart, so if i didn't get it right, just ask again, the question....it might be like What do you do if you have a boy that you love and this boy loves you back but your so far away?.... ;)

There isn't really a good way to break up with someone. Its pretty much going to suck but there are better ways to break up with someone. If you aren't that involved with them, end it early and just tell them you want to be friends. If you are involved with them, do it like a band-aid. Quickly. Don't lead them on. But don't be mean..there's a difference.

There are many reasons why people are afraid, to list them all would be quite impossible. Mostly i believe people are afraid because they have something to lose, such as a life, companionship etc and due to harm or maladies befalling them. Fear can also result due to uncertainty, eg. uncertainty about your future if you do not do well in your exams etc. If you are mentally strong and able to detach yourself from the real world there is no need to fear anything.
