The pain from a herniated disc in the beginning is beyond painful. I have had history of a couple of herniated discs. I had to be bed ridden for close to two weeks. Gradually through time it will ease up but, not thoroughly it takes time and effort for the pain to go away, if your herniated disc is not severe which would have the effect of surgery; yoga is a great remedy for back problems even if you were to have surgery yoga therapy is a good thing. My English teacher had herniated discs enough for her to end up in the hospital to have surgery. Again if surgery is unnecessary the chiropractor, a great alternative to yoga.

OK firstly its important to remember that you mustn't stay with her because of this. Essentially she is blackmailing you into staying with her and that's always wrong. Its clear that she needs professional help. The best thing to do would either be to speak to someone who can help her or to talk to her about getting professional help. okay so it depends the situation you are in. Taking it from someone with experience i am sorry to say this but maybe she just wants to be friends. Take it slow and go out as friends first with a few other people and let her get used to the situation. Hopefully she will like you and be more comfortable around you to go out on a date.

When we don't accept our personal responsibility, whatever the situation may be, it places the burden on other people in the relationship, which makes things difficult. You just have to try harder. I find it helps to go out with friends and just do things to keep your mind off of it. If the relationship lasted a while, then you won't get over it immediately, but just try to have fun. You'll feel better. Avoid him. Go out of your way to avoid him and dont take his calls or emails. Dont go to the places you use to go with him. Try to meet someone else or spend more time with family and friends. Keep yourself busy. Dont call him or drive by his house or go to the same places you use to go with him. Are children involved? If so, that might be hard. If so, ask that you only communicate by email for awhile. Maybe not hearing his voice or seeing him face to face might help make the pain go away easier. If you have to drop of kids, pick up kids, ask to do this at a neutral location-family. There is a reason why he is your ex, he is your past and he does not belong in your future..you will find that guy who wont hurt your and will love you..
