drain coolant then remove thermostat housing remove thermostat replace with new one spring to block

Remove upper door trim panel using tool J38778 to pry out the retainer at the top.

Lift the upper door trim panel in order to remove.

Disconnect the wire harness from the tweeter.

Remove the insulator (triangle shaped piece)

Remove the door trim panel to gain access to the power mirror wire harness

Disconnect wire harness electrical connector

Disconnect wire harness from retainer clips

Remove wire harness fasteners

Remove mirror from door

Pull wire harness through hole in the door

As you fail to mention year and engine size, I will assume it is a 3.8 V6. Firing order for the 3.8 is 1-6-5-4-3-2

Actualy it is the cars internal resonance, like glass when you meat the resonance it will cause the glass to vibrate. that is how you shatter glass with sound. It is normal on older cars for this to happen.

First you need to take out the controls on the door panel. it will probably give you some trouble, but they will come out. Unplug everything from the controls and set them aside. There will be 2 bolts either 7 mm or 10 mm or somewhere inbetween.Remove those 2 bolts. There will be a tourque screw on the side of the door between the wood grain and arm rest, and another one behind the door handle. Remove those screws. Then also on the side of the door there will be a red reflector, you need to pop that out and look up inside and there will be another bolt. Once again7mm to 10mm i dont remember. Once you remove that last bolt then the door should be able to pop out of itrs clips and slide right off.

I have the same problem on my Nissan Altima, it is the antenna motor. Replace it.

The heater blower motor, which is under the dash is held in by three screws. After unscrewing, wiggle the blower out by pulling back the carpet layers to give extra room. Make sure that the replacement matches the original as there are two versions of the motor for earlier 2000 models.

TAKE THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND THEN TAKE OUT THE INNER WINDOW STRUCTURE AND THEN THERE ARE TWO BOLTS HOLDING ON THE MIRROR TAKE THEN OFF GOOD LUCK YOU ARE BETTER OFF HAVING SOMEONE DO IT FOR YOU

you should check your electrical connection at the "pump" terminal if there's no power then trace that wire back and see where the problem is.

Break rotors heat up very fast while drive and stopping, todays technology in my sense isn't the best on rotors. If you have a heavy foot and brake hard, that will contribute to warped rotors. Sudden stops will also case warping. Most brake Specialist (Les Shwab) recommend on new cars, and new rotors to brake easy, (light foot) on your new rotors for the first 1,000 miles of the rotors life. That way they have time to brake in.

You might want to check your flasher relay which is under the dash.

just sell your car. it will fail again in a few years and you will have to invest about $500 per window. this piece of crap is planned senescence... and those bozos knew it!! i hate to say it... but buy Toyota or Honda... foreign.

They can be replaced easily for about $50.00 for a new one on eBay, installation is pretty straight forward for someone who is a little bit handy, but if one of originals break you can count on the others one breaking in a short time. Have replaced 3 of the four doors so far, also don't attempt to move when window is frozen

I believe on the top of the gas tank. Usually you have to pull the tank to get to it.

I had this problem with my 1998 Intrigue. It began when the starter died and the battery was disconnected. When I took it in for repair, the mechanic told me the actuator was bad, but as it turns out, it has two. He replaced the one on the right side but it began doing the same thing within a few days. At this point, I had already spent $300 and wasn't ready to chance another incorrect diagnosis. I tried disconnecting the battery cable for an hour to allow the actuators to recalibrate but this didn't fix. I replaced the left one myself, and this has corrected the issue. The actuator itself, cost around $165 if purchased from a parts store. The one on the right is located under the dash just left of the glove box. The one on the left is located right of the steering column.It's a fairly simple process once you get to the actuator.

The license plate bulb on a 1998 Buick LeSabre is replaced by removing the retaining screws and disconnecting the wiring harness. The bulb can then be twisted from the socket and a new bulb installed.

first you snap off the wood trim from the dash then you take 3 screws out, one at the bottom left of the trunk release the other at bottom of passenger airbag and the other one is located to the bottom right of the passenger airbag. After that pop out the 4 air vents, inside there is one skrew in each of the vents slot tak those out too. Put the Buick in the lowest gear probbly in first gear for a 95.Then you tilt the sterring wheel down and pull outwards on the dash You will see the factory stereo has some skrews take those out and your done........I suggest you go to wal-mart and but the stock connectors so you wont have to cut any wires. It only cost like 10 bucks.

I have the same question, and how is the steel line connected to the rubber line, how do they come apart? do you have to release the fuel line pressure first?

A: Ok. If the leak is at one of the quick connects at the rear of the car between the filter and the tank, you need to replace that quick connect. Problem is that they only sell the whole assembly of 3 lines. And it is over $300. Ridiculous when you only have to replace one. I went to auto zone and bought a fix it kit. It was 20 bucks and not to hard. TAKE THE LINE THAT IS LEAKING OFF. You will need to cut the line in half with a razor knife. Measure and cut the new line w/ connector according to the part that you have cut off the original. It is important to have it the right length because they don't bend to easy. Now get some water boiling and put the two ends of the old and the new sides of the tube you will be connecting. 10 min or more. Take one out and quickly push the hose connector into the tube. Push it all the way to the middle of the coupler. Then take the other side out and repeat. It will cool and form the coupler and create a seal. Put it back on the car, start and check for leaks. If your leak is in the actual metal lines. Go to the parts store and get some fuel line and a pipe bender. DO NOT TRY TO BEND WITHOUT THIS TOOL. Bend and form to the correct length and shape.

Simplest is to get another good key.

If that is not available then you need to modify the wiring harness to bypass the chip reader by inserting the resistor elsewhere in the circuit.

Under the hood in front of the transmission dip stick is a vacuum line. If it is disconnected or split it will make the air vents not work. If that's not it check your fuses.

Near the steering column, below the dashboard, there's a panel that covers the wiring. It also serves as a platform for much of the wiring. There are three screws that must be removed to lower the panel. On the left side of the steering column and toward the left rear (front of the car) of that panel, is the turn signal actuator. If you leave the turn signal turned on while you search, you can hear it operating. Two wires attach to the connection.

I just replaced the one on my father's car last week.

1988 buick lasabre stalls and sputters like out of gas not all the time though with full or half tank don't matter....i changed the fuel filter..i added lucas injector cleaner...i just changed the water pump that went seemed to run fine after for 1 day then started acting up again the fuel pump in tank seems to be louder not sure what to change next maybe a sensor ?
