My 92 Lesabre broke the little security wire where it attaches to the ignition switch. Every time you turn the key, it flexes the wire. There was enough slack coming up the column for me to splice/solder back together. I had to take the steering wheel off and remove the steering wheel lock. Be careful with the airbag! You can probably find how to remove everything on this forum.

There are two thing that will cause this. One being the chip in the key is no good, or the security/anti-theft computer is no good. Try your spare key firts. If not, tow it to the dealership for the computer as it will need to be flashed and will be costly.

you have to remove the wood grain trim peice by just pulling then remove the air vents there are about 7 screws under the wood trim and then another 1 under each vent then open the glove box to get to 2 more screws then remove it once you remove all the screws the dash should lift right out

Does it die when you let off gas (@ redlights ect.)? Is chk eng light on? If chk eng light on take to Auto Zone & they may have OLDER comp (some only have `96 or newer) and check for FREE. Had same prob w/ `90 computer found it was cam sensor. If no light chk local Buick dealer PARTS department some are helpful (FREE) some are not ($) but any should be helpful. My son had that problem with his '91 & it turned out to be crankshaft sensor.

I know but for a small fee I will charge you. I am about to go take the 3.00 test light I bought at walmart to find out. I think info should be shared not sold. If I could pay for help I would pay for installation. I will be back with the answer for free just because that's what kind of guy I am.

The reason the key is stuck is because the shifter linkage is out of alignment. To remove the key just remove the black plastic piece the surrounds the ignition key , use a finger nail file or something similar , it pops out pretty easy , then you will see a little "Red" colored button , push the button in , you now will be able to push the black button in and the key can now be removed. I know I'm a genius !

try a new coilpack assembly ,,it worked for me I had a similar problem on my 87 Century 3.8l. My Cam Position Sensor was overheating which changed the voltage and kept the car from running. I diagnosed it by pouring some cold water on the sensor when the vehicle wouldn't start and when it did I knew it was that sensor. It could also have been the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I would have chilled it next to determine this. I would also test that the the Fuel Pressure is accurate. My fuel pump worked intermittently causing the car to be hard starting when hot. ( I replaced the fuel pump and then found out about the sensors.) Good Luck!

The turn signal flasher on a 2005 Buick Century is under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle. Look for a small box just above, and to the right, of the brace that holds the brake pedal in place.

Hello: You must first remove the battery. There is a clip on the front side of the battery that holds the bottom rim of the battery down. Unscrew the nut, remove the clip and slide the battery up and out. (First disconnect the cables) Then, there are four clips that hold the lid of the air cleaner compartment to the base. Unsnap these and the top comes off. Careful, the clips can fall off and are hard to reistall. Remove the old filter, and clean out the compartment, remove dust and dirt, and install new filter. Reverse the above steps and you are done.

You need to siphon it out. You'll also need several gas cans if the tank is full.

I tried to change the harmonic balancer of my biuck lesabre 1994, but i can't remove the old one, the bold in the center is very , very tight and i don't know the type of screw, right or left turn.

Can't say for sure, but I would encourage you to remove the kick panel and look under the dashboard at the far right side of the passenger's legspace.

Turn ignition on for ten minutes. Turn off for five seconds. Turn on for ten more minutes. Off five seconds. Lastime on for ten minutes. Off and START IT! Read a book to pass off the time.

Why would you want to drop the tank? The fuel pump can be accessed from inside the trunk just behind the right rear seat back area.

A bad o2 sensor can cause this problem in a car. A bad fuel pump, fuel filter or fuel line will also cause hesitation during acceleration.

look under the car from the front its just above the main cross member a little bit to the driver side the wirers are on the passanger side you will need a 15 mm socket to remove it

you need to check to see if the lines or outside unit has an ice build up. unit is probably working too hard, keep it at an even tempature, don't turn down and then turn up constantly. ====Aswer==== Better yet, check to see if the indoor fan motor is running. It could be a bad fan motor, bad capacitor, or bad fan relay.
