check the new oil filter you have just installed to see if new oil is getting to it . if it is dry there are two things you can try .first if possible fill the new filter with oil and reinstall. second just try another oil filter. I have seen defective filters out of the box

More than likey, there is a diagram somewere under the hood of the car. If not, you might find it on the internet some how but I am really, really sure you'll find it under your hood. I have a 91' cadi. deville. Hope this helps some how.

Spring goes toward engine block. Install the gasket and tighten to factory specs. Usually 20 lb/ft torque.

There's no way to reset this. If it's out of range or doesn't work at all, check wiring going from fuel sending unit inside the gas tank up to main harness. The fuel sending unit may just be worn out and need to be replaced.

Petcock on bottom or radiator or remove lower hose.

If front end click it sounds like the joint in one of your your front axels is on the way out

I have had the same problem with my '88 Coupe DeVille I have been told to replace the bulb and the clicker under the dash by he steering column. Hope this helps some.

Your cam drive pully system should be located directly in behind your alternator and head gaskets. If this is not the case, do not start your car as spontaneous compustion may occur. Take the necessary precautions in order to ensure your safety. If you find it in the above location, then you will need to unscrew all the 13 screws around your suspension coil and slowly drop your cam drive pulley out.

I may also recommend that your burn to the ground your rubbish Cadillac devile and invest an a non-American piece of patriacal crap automobile, dare i suggest, an Aston Martin.

You need to provide more information before anyone can help you. Which control module are you looking for? The engine computer is located under the air cleaner box. The turn signal module is under the dash on the drivers side. the A/c controler is behind the dash. See what I mean? If you know which one you are looking for the nearest salvage yard can tell you and maybe even provide you one at much less expense. Good luck

There is a screw at the tail light that you can see by looking at it . Remove the screw and the tail light comes out by tilting it away from the body toward you, giving you access to the bulbs. Hint after you back the screw out all the way,push the screw in a little and use it as grasp the assembly( leverage) to pull the assembly away from the body. The gasket causes it to stick a little. Takes about 30 seconds to get out

The water pump is on the front of the engine, just under the top radiator hose. After removing the top hose and drive belts, the pump should be accessible to be unbolted and exchanged.

I am changing one for the first time and the bolts take about 1 hour. But trying to get the pump out once it is free, well I've been working on it two hour and still don't have it out. The instructions say to rotate the pump but it will not fit through the space between the wheel and upper body. I will try again tomorrow.

If you know the value of the resistor you can cut the wires going to the lock cylinder and solder in a resistor of the correct value.

HHHey the vats went out on my 1992 camaro rs 305 v8,tbi,i tried everything ,nothing worked ,i went to a junk yard and got a used ecm from a 1991 non-vats caprice,,pluged it in ,,no more vats ,,runs great ,,,i dont even have any lights on at all ,,great way to totally get rid of this crappy set up ,the rest of the bypasses dont work if your reader is bad ,or any other part of vats ,,so just get rid of it

it is in the fuse box under the hood directly above the A/C relay. In fact the A/C relay is exactly the same.

disconnect your battery,jack up front of car with jack coming in from the side.go underneath and disconnect the three bolts holding the two fans to radiator,then take out the four bolts on top holding the two fan housings and remove the fans.go back underneath and in the front drivers side you will see the starter under the manifold.there will be a clamp holding two wires. take that off and the front starter bolt will be right there.then you will see a plastic cover not very big.goes from starter,over crossover to tranny body. it is held on by three small bolts.underneath the front part of the plastic cover is your back starter bolt.there where no spacers to worry about when you drop the starter.disconnect two wires going to seleniod and out it comes.just changed the brushes in my starter lastweek-took two hours.

I know this one. The Interior Light Relay is located under the hood on the driver's side. It is called the INADVERT RELAY. If you remove the large black cover on the driver's side, under the hood, the fuses will be reveal. While standing on the driver's side of the hood, look closest to you, you will see another smaller black cover, it slides on the INADVERT RELAY. Slide off the cover, and you have the relay. Take the relay to your nearest parts dealer and get the correct one. If you get the wrong one, meaning it looks the same but is not exact, you may have trouble with your battery draining. The INADVERT RELAY controls interior lighting, and cigarette lighters throught the vehicle.

Jumper the A and B terminals of the scanner box.
