Each state has at least one chapter and indiana is no exception. One of the chapters, the Indiana Red Hat and Purple Chaps, is a mounted chapter who perform riding displays at various events in the local area and surrounding states.

In the US there are over 1 million charities. In Canada over 200,000. I don't have detailed numbers, but I'm looking into it.

Sullivan Pugh was born in Moorhaven, Florida in 1925. Pugh began singing as a child soloist at the First Born Church of the Living God in Miami. He met his wife lola (when she was singing with the Miami Gospel Singers. The couple married in 1950. In 1952 the pair decided to form a gospel trio with Pearl Nance-Rayford, and they called themselves the Miami Soul Stirrers. Their original repertoire was based on the traditional spirituals and songs of the Holiness Church. Early influences included other African American gospel groups such as the Soul Stirrers of Chicago (from which they took their name) and the National Gospel Twins of Delray Beach, Florida. In 1953, Nance-Rayford quit the trio and Sullivan and lola took the name The Spiritual Consolers for their duet. During the early period of their careers, the Pughs sang for both the Glory and DeLuxe recording labels. In 1955 they signed with Nashboro Records in Nashville, Tennessee and shortened their name to The Consolers. Their first recording with Nashboro was "Give Me My Flowers." "Flowers" would remain their best selling recording and signature song. For forty years Sullivan and lola Pugh were considered among the elite traditional African American gospel performers in America. During this period they sang on numerous single releases and produced twenty-five albums. They performed concerts in the Bahamas, England, Africa, Canada, and throughout the United States. Favorite southern gospel performers, The Consolers performed at countless church conventions and camp meetings in Florida, Their blended vocals along with Sullivan's guitar playing were considered trademarks in the world of gospel music. A gifted composer, Pugh wrote many of the songs heard on their recordings and in concert. lola Pugh died in October 1994. Sullivan Pugh remains a member of his childhood church in Miami. He is actively involved with The Consolers Progressive Charity Club which assists the needy. Pugh continues to sing and participate in community and church activities.

To run the risk of oversimplification, the French are funny. They have a tendency to tone down , circulocute ( lit talk-around) touchy or embarrassing subjects such as, say Drug abuse, juvenile pregnancy and so on. much energies are tied into a ( respectable) facade or image- and up to a point the complexities of the French language work in this direction. There are such charitable organizations as the Red Cross and the Salvation Army ( both being multi-national) but aside from obvious religious organizations- well, they just don"t talk about it publically. I know those two exist- but am not aware of others, maybe they don"t like to talk about (sad) or downbeat subjects- sort of the Flip side of ( Joie de Vivre)_ Joy of living.

I have recently found a great charity called helping Gambia. You can sponser a child for just 2 pounds a month and you can even go out to gambia to visit your sopnsered child.

"HELPING" is the best ever Charity, money goes to feed the children. Everything given to "HELPING" is given to the children or in Building Schools/Nurseries and other Projects.

There are now many sites where someone can set up donation fund raisers. Go Fund me is the most popular one. Also the company Tee Spring has had great success raising money for causes.

Its in Solidarity for charity initiated by Rugby league player Andy Johnson who's son Jack is suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The fingers linking together are to symbolise two J's (Jack Johnson). Not only rugby league players are supporting it, as shown by Scottish Rugby Union player Sean lamont after scoring try against Italy.

Currently, they have got 5 main vessels which are: MY Steve Irwin, MY Bob Barker, MY Sam Simon, MY Jairo Mora Sandoval, MV Brigette Bardot. Along with their fleet, the acculamte numerouse of donated boats from other people and celebrities along with having small water boats. In the past, they have had 9 main vessels which included first 2 Sea Shepherd boats, Farley Mowat and the Ady Gil. The cause of some of these boats departure are because of retirement due to colissions like the Ady Gil which had to be left to sunk after colliding with a Japanese harpoon vessel.
