fuel sending unit my van did the same thing changed the fuel filter ,pump,rotor.cap, spark plugs clean fuel injecters then changed fuel sending unit and it worked ...
They did not use a 700R4 in 2000 model. It would be a 4L60E.
You could try testing the hub. lift car and shake tire. if it shakes you need a new hub. My 1998 Taurus has a tortion/sway bar in the back. There is a rod that holds the end of the tortion bar in place. I had a thumping noise and found out that the end of that rod had broken off. The rod was about $10.00 at the local auto part store. It was very easy to replace. Jack up car, remove rear wheel and then the rod has rubber bushings and a nut at each end to hold it on.

Are you sure there is no spark? Check the relays inside the engine compartment the eec relay is the first to click when the key is turned then comes the fuel pump relay. These ford relays are notorious for going bad in sequence. try listening or feeling for a click from the eec and fuel pump relays when the key is turned to on, if not then try swapping the ac relay with the eec relay or the fuel pump whichever one does not click and see if it helps

How do I replace door handle on Chevy 96 silverado?
Open your door. Look at the edge of the door. There is a bolt just about even with the handle. Take that out and then remove the inside door panel. There should be a whole at on the inside even with the door handle, take that out and the handle should be lose. You will then have to take apart the clips that work the lock and door latch. Its not simple, but if you are half way mechanically incline you should be able to do it.
As long as all 4 tires are the identical size you will have no difficulties as long as they fit in the wheel wells and don't rub on sharp turns. The ABS looks for a difference in speed between all 4 wheels. If everything turns at the same speed its all good. The AWD will only be affected again if all the wheels ARE NOT the same size. So as long as you keep all 4 corners the same it will be just fine.

Starting from the front (the front is where your radiator fan is located) driver side (#1 cylinder), it alternates back and forth. I.e.-#1 is front driver side, #2 is front passenger side, #3 is behind #1, #4 is behind #2, etc. Basically, from front to back on the driver side, the cylinders are #1, #3, and #5, and from front to back on the passenger side the cylinders are #2, #4, and #6.

If you have antifreeze coming out of your oil pan you're in trouble.
Knock comes from poorly combusting gas/air mixture in the cylinders. Engines need oil to lubricate the pistons moving in the cylinders and the crankshaft, gears and mechanisms controlling the valves. If you have antifreeze coming out of your oil pan, that probably means you have a cracked engine block because antifreeze circulates in the cooling system, which is supposed to be entirely separate from the oil circulating. More likely is that the antifreeze is leaking out of one of the pipes or hoses, especially at connecting points, and dribbling down the side of the engine to the oil pan at the bottom of the engine, and it just looks like it has come out there. If the engine loudly knocks all the time it may be a thrown rod.

I don't know of a place on the internet where you could find this particular diagram, but I would recommend purchasing a Haynes manual for your vehicle. These are pretty readily available at auto parts stores, and they contain all the information you will ever need to know about your vehicle. The writers of the manual essentially tear apart the car and then show you how using pictures and diagrams.

That's probably a good bet. Thermostats are relatively cheap and if you have a concern such as the one you describe, you should just change the thermostat.

High speed uses a separate fuse. It's in the fuse box under the hood, large green 30 amp. If the fuse is not blown, suspect the blower resistor assembly at the front of the ac/heater box, just behind the washer bottle. Occassionally the fan switch itself may be defective.
Where is the purge vent solenoid located at on 2001 Chevy astro?
If you have the dog house off and your looking at the rear of the motor, it's on the right side right near the Map sensor. If you look near the disributor, there is a plastic vaccum line that comes off a metal line. That is the tank vent line. Follow it to the motor and it goes right into the purge solenoid.
